Soldier | Phoenix

Soldier | Phoenix is a Distinguished Terrorist agent from the Shattered Web Agents set. It holds the last position in the set's price order: twenty-second of twenty-two.

What the Soldier | Phoenix looks like

A dark burgundy knit balaclava covers the head, with slits for the eyes and mouth. Under the vest is a gray shirt with rolled-up sleeves, and the light vest carries a red phoenix emblem.

The vest straps are red, and reddish stains show here and there on the fabric. There are few colors, gray, light and burgundy, so the look comes across as composed and simple.

Where the Soldier | Phoenix came from

The agent arrived in the Shattered Web Agents set on November 19, 2019, alongside Operation Shattered Web.

Valve describes a skilled marksman whom the Phoenix brought in for campaigns to win back territory. Alone, soldiers like him are very dangerous, and in a group they are more dangerous still.

What the agent does in game

The agent takes the model slot of its own side, so the Soldier | Phoenix shows only when you play Terrorists. With any agent, hitboxes and damage are the same in CS2.

There are no differences between copies, and no variants of this agent exist.

Which gloves go with it

Choosing gloves here is a matter of looks: the sleeves belong to the model, while the hands are covered on top. The palette is restrained, with gray, light and burgundy.

Visually, gloves in dark gray or black work, as do warm dark red shades that echo the balaclava. Cool gray-blue tones continue the color of the shirt. A large bright pattern on the hands is too much.

What the Soldier | Phoenix costs

In the Shattered Web Agents set the agent holds twenty-second place of twenty-two, the cheapest position. Enforcer | Phoenix is a few percent higher, and Maximus | Sabre about a tenth.

Dragomir | Sabre is about a sixth higher. The spread inside the set is small: the cheapest agent differs from its neighbors by percentages, not by multiples.

Who it suits

The Soldier | Phoenix is worth buying for CS2 in these cases:

• you want a Terrorist agent with a covered face and a phoenix emblem on the vest;

• you are collecting the Shattered Web Agents set and want the cheapest model in its price order;

• you like a simple look in gray and burgundy with no loud details.
