This is the Souvenir AWP | Dragon Lore in Factory New (FN), with the gilding on its edges untouched. The rank is Covert. In CS2 the Souvenir release comes from neither a case nor a contract: it was handed to tournament viewers in Cobblestone packages. Team stickers and a player's signature tell it apart from a plain listing.
What the Souvenir AWP | Dragon Lore looks like in Factory New
Body, handguard and stock are painted olive green, with the artwork laid over them in gold. The dragon takes the left plane of the receiver: an orange figure with a yellow halo, its head, open jaws and coiling body all legible. Diamond scales run along the barrel, warm near the receiver and dark gray toward the muzzle. Gold overlays sit on the stock too, beside a beige panel with a pale, unmarked ornament.
Factory New keeps intact exactly the places that go first: the top of the receiver, the handguard edge, the butt plate and the rings on the barrel. The fine scaling reads down to the last diamond, and the dragon on the flat side holds longer than the rest anyway. Between 0.00 and 0.07 the look does not change.
Where the Souvenir AWP | Dragon Lore came from
Valve drew the finish itself, with no Steam Workshop submission on record; the catalog stands it at number 344. The Cobblestone collection carrying this skin was released on July 1, 2014. Ten packages were made with that map, the first handed out at ESL One Cologne 2014 and the last at Boston 2018.
What to check before buying
A few points are worth checking first:
- which tournament the package came from, since the signature and the sticker set differ with each;
- whether this copy carries stickers and an applied name;
- the float, which in this grade runs from 0.00 to 0.07.
There is no pattern lottery on this finish: the dragon and the ornament landed identically on every copy.
What the Souvenir AWP | Dragon Lore costs in Factory New
The other grades of the Souvenir release, against this one:
- Minimal Wear is about a quarter cheaper;
- Field-Tested close to half.
One number belongs to this release alone, the Souvenir premium. In Factory New it stays within a few percent of the plain version, so the team stickers and the player signature add little to the price.
Among Covert AWP finishes in this grade the Souvenir AWP | Dragon Lore is first by price. AWP | Desert Hydra is about eight times cheaper, AWP | Lightning Strike fourteen, and AWP | Queen's Gambit twenty-six.
Getting the Souvenir AWP | Dragon Lore
One road only: the Cobblestone Souvenir package handed to tournament viewers. A contract does not apply to Souvenir items, and a release like this is not put into ordinary cases.
StatTrak and Souvenir
Souvenir items are not given a kill counter, so this release has no StatTrak version. The plain AWP | Dragon Lore without tournament stickers lives on its own page, at its own price.
Stickers and craft on the Souvenir AWP | Dragon Lore
The team stickers and the player signature were applied when the package was issued, and they cannot be chosen: they arrive as they were at the tournament. The sticker set is therefore part of the price itself. The gold ornament leaves almost no room for craft of your own, only the barrel front and the scope mount.
Who this wear suits
Factory New is worth buying in these situations:
- you want an item with tournament history rather than a working rifle for CS2;
- the gold on the edges and the barrel rings has to be whole;
- the Souvenir premium here is small, and stickers and signature come with the skin.
