The finish is built around a monster: yellow-green tentacles, teeth and pink tongues pile over one another, and a single eye shows among them. Valve says the same: a creature of green tentacles, teeth and a lone eyeball. The barrel and handguard are red with dark streaks, the grip is orange, and only the scope and bipod stay black.

In Field-Tested the red on the barrel and handguard is worn along the edges, the yellow-green patches dull slightly, and the pink tongues remain the brightest detail. Wear is fixed at drop and does not grow later.

The segment from 0.15 to 0.38 on the SSG 08 | Bloodshot is long, and the copies at its ends differ noticeably. It is half of the finish's scale, which runs from 0.14 to 0.60. Minimal Wear takes only 0.14 to 0.15 here.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The SSG 08 | Bloodshot has a StatTrak version. No Souvenir packages were released for this finish: those were issued only for tournament map collections. But you can build a Souvenir copy yourself, since the Souvenir-O-Matic puts golden tournament stickers and a player autograph on an ordinary skin from the inventory. That is why single Souvenir copies occasionally turn up even where no packages ever existed.

The finish is noisy: tentacles, teeth and tongues cover almost the whole middle. Black and white stickers read on the yellow-green fields, while red ones get lost on the red barrel.

The artwork is the same on every copy of this scout, so a loadout for it is built by color. Cool blue and purple stickers balance the yellow and red palette.

Who this wear suits

Buying the SSG 08 | Bloodshot in exactly this wear makes sense when:
