The Scout is a budget sniper that one-shots to the head at any range while keeping you fast and mobile — you can jump, reposition and peek far more freely than with an AWP. It won't one-shot the body, so it rewards precise aim, but its low price and high movement speed make it a deadly aggressive pick on eco and mid-buy rounds. Available to both teams, it's the sniper of choice for players who like to run and gun with a scope. It deals 88 base damage with 85% armor penetration, enough to one-shot any head at any range.
