This is the StatTrak™ AK-47 | Crane Flight in Field-Tested, and the kill counter roughly doubles the price against the regular version. The float band is 0.15 to 0.38. The skin is Classified, from the Dead Hand Collection. In Field-Tested (FT) with a counter, the finish sits in the middle of its rank.
What the StatTrak™ AK-47 | Crane Flight looks like in Field-Tested
The base is white with a light cream tint, with cranes drawn over it in gray-graphite lines. The birds fly across the receiver and the dust cover, the handguard has a sparser drawing, and the stock carries a separate scene with a red disc. The front sight, gas tube bracket, trigger guard and the edges of the dust cover are done in gold, and the magazine is white and carries the wing drawing. The barrel and gas block are dark and unpainted.
The lines are thin, the birds read as silhouettes, and small ideographic marks stand beside them. In Field-Tested the white base is the first to gray: the lip of the handguard, the butt plate, the top of the receiver. The crane lines break up sooner than the large patches, and the gilding on the high points rubs down to metal.
Where the StatTrak™ AK-47 | Crane Flight came from
The finish was made by Aresad, and the drawing is signed in the description of the work as "art by GhostRider". The author put the Workshop submission up on May 1, 2024 under the title "AK-47 | Crane Flight V3", so it was the third version that reached the game. The Dead Hand Collection, where this finish comes from, was released on March 11, 2026. Its number in Valve's catalog is 1425.
In the release note Valve described the set: seventeen finishes by community authors and twenty-two glove variants as the rare items. Access to the collection came through the Sealed Dead Hand Terminal, which was handed out as a weekly drop.
What to check before buying
Choosing a particular StatTrak™ AK-47 | Crane Flight comes down to these points:
- the kill count on the counter, which cannot be zeroed and goes to the buyer exactly as it stands;
- the float: toward 0.38 the white base grays noticeably and the gilding dulls;
- the name tag and stickers this StatTrak™ AK-47 | Crane Flight already carries.
A lucky pattern cannot be fished out of the StatTrak™ AK-47 | Crane Flight: there is only ever one. The grade stretches from 0.15 to 0.38, and you can see that on inspection.
What the StatTrak™ AK-47 | Crane Flight costs in Field-Tested
The counter adds to the price about as much as the regular copy costs on its own.
Within the counter version, Factory New is four times dearer and Minimal Wear about four fifths dearer. The steps are smaller going down: Well-Worn is about a third cheaper, and Battle-Scarred about three quarters cheaper.
Among Classified AK-47s with a counter, the StatTrak™ AK-47 | Crane Flight stands exactly in the middle: five finishes are cheaper and five are dearer. Point Disarray runs close beside it, Frontside Misty and Cartel are a little higher, and Case Hardened holds the top of the rank.
Getting the StatTrak™ AK-47 | Crane Flight
The Dead Hand terminal hands out copies with a counter on equal terms with regular ones.
The second route is a trade-up contract, in which all ten inputs must carry a counter: the game does not mix regular and StatTrak skins in one contract. You take skins one step down from the same set, and there are three Classified finishes in it, so the result is random.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The regular AK-47 | Crane Flight without a counter is a separate product with its own page, and in Field-Tested it costs about half as much. A Souvenir release of the finish exists but cannot be combined with a counter: there are no Souvenir items with StatTrak.
Stickers and craft on the StatTrak™ AK-47 | Crane Flight
Two flat places are left for a sticker: the underside of the stock and the stretch of handguard behind the front sight. Dark graphics read on the white field, while yellow and gold logos get lost beside the fittings. The edges are already gray in this grade, so a craft in CS2 is best built nearer to the flat surfaces.
Who this wear suits
This wear of the StatTrak™ AK-47 | Crane Flight is a sensible buy if:
- you want a kill counter, not showcase whiteness on the body;
- fresh artwork from a 2026 set matters more to you than the CS2 classics;
- a double markup over the regular version does not bother you.
A white body shows wear sooner than dark finishes. For the shine of the gilding, look at Minimal Wear, though it costs about four fifths more.
