StatTrak™ AK-47 | Phantom Disruptor (Field-Tested)

The StatTrak™ AK-47 | Phantom Disruptor in Field-Tested (FT) is a rifle with a matte black base and a kill counter. This wear limits it to floats of 0.15 to 0.38. The rank is Classified, and the finish belongs to the Prisma 2 Collection.

What the StatTrak™ AK-47 | Phantom Disruptor looks like in Field-Tested

A creature made of fog is laid over the matte black base. Its body consists of orange-gold and turquoise swirls, a toothed mouth shows near the handguard, and the artwork carries on across the stock. Black stays the background, while the color is gathered into narrow streams.

Nothing differs between copies in the artwork, so there is no particular one to hunt for. The band from 0.15 to 0.38 is 0.23 out of the finish's 0.65 scale, about a third.

Where the StatTrak™ AK-47 | Phantom Disruptor came from

The finish was created by apel8. The Steam Workshop submission was titled "Ak-47 | Phantom Disruptor" and was published on November 7, 2018. Valve put the finish into the "Cleaning Out the Cobwebs" update together with the Prisma 2 Collection. The StatTrak™ AK-47 | Phantom Disruptor itself appeared on March 31, 2020. Valve's catalog number for the finish is 941.

What to check before buying

A few points deserve a look before you buy the StatTrak™ AK-47 | Phantom Disruptor:

• the number on the counter, which passes to the new owner unchanged;

• the float: between 0.15 and 0.38 it changes how much wear sits on the black base;

• the name tag and stickers this StatTrak™ AK-47 | Phantom Disruptor already carries.

Every copy of the StatTrak™ AK-47 | Phantom Disruptor carries the same artwork, with no particular one to track down.

What the StatTrak™ AK-47 | Phantom Disruptor costs in Field-Tested

The StatTrak version costs about twice as much as the regular one in this wear. The other wears of this version, set against the current one:

• Factory New is priced at roughly two and a half times this one;

• Minimal Wear is priced at one and a half times this one;

• Well-Worn is about 28% above it;

• Battle-Scarred lands at about the same level.

Well-Worn is dearer than Field-Tested here, even though its 0.38 to 0.45 band is three times narrower. Among Classified AK-47s with StatTrak in this wear, the finish is third from the bottom of eleven. Only StatTrak™ AK-47 | Searing Rage and StatTrak™ AK-47 | Ice Coaled cost less.

Getting the StatTrak™ AK-47 | Phantom Disruptor

The counter version drops from the Prisma 2 Case, and no other case carries this finish. It comes out of a trade-up only if all ten input skins are StatTrak as well, since the game does not mix normal and StatTrak items in one trade-up.

StatTrak and Souvenir

Apart from the kill counter, the StatTrak version differs from the regular AK-47 | Phantom Disruptor in price: in Field-Tested the markup is about double. The reading can be moved with the StatTrak Swap Tool to another item of the same type, and that item receives the reading in return. If you do not need a counter, the regular version exists as a separate item with its own page. There are no souvenir packages for this finish.

Stickers and craft on the StatTrak™ AK-47 | Phantom Disruptor

Colored streams of fog run along the whole body, and the black base between them stays free. Turquoise and gold stickers pick up the colors of the finish, while white and red ones give contrast.

Who this wear suits

Buying the StatTrak™ AK-47 | Phantom Disruptor here, in Field-Tested, makes sense when:

• you want a rifle with a counter and a colorful creature on black, for matches in CS2;

• inside the 0.15 to 0.38 stretch you want a copy chosen by number, not by wear label;

• the premium for the counter, about double the regular version, does not bother you.
