StatTrak™ AK-47 | The Outsiders (Field-Tested)

The StatTrak™ AK-47 | The Outsiders in Field-Tested (FT) is the kill-counter version of a finish from The Gallery Collection. In this wear the float stays between 0.15 and 0.38. The rank is Classified, and the rifle drops from the Gallery Case.

What the StatTrak™ AK-47 | The Outsiders looks like in Field-Tested

The rifle looks hand-painted: an orange-red base with green patches. A yellow bus is drawn along the receiver, and crude pictures are scattered over the handguard, the magazine and the stock. By Valve's description, these are clumsy depictions of terrorists in various situations.

The 0.15 to 0.38 band leaves room to choose, as copies nearer 0.15 are cleaner. It takes up 0.23 of the finish's 0.90 scale.

Where the StatTrak™ AK-47 | The Outsiders came from

The author is m03h. On the Steam Workshop the work was called "AK-47 | T BUS", with the author's caption "NOT SHOOL BUS", spelled as he wrote it. The StatTrak™ AK-47 | The Outsiders appeared on October 2, 2024, when The Gallery Collection was added to the game. Valve's notes to the update mention three new weapon collections, the Gallery Case and the Heat Treated Desert Eagle. The finish has number 113 in Valve's catalog.

What to check before buying

When choosing a StatTrak™ AK-47 | The Outsiders, pay attention to the following:

• the number on the counter: it cannot be reset, and it passes to the new owner in full;

• the float: the closer to the lower bound of 0.15, the fewer scuffs on the orange base;

• the name tag and stickers: on a StatTrak copy they remain on the item through a sale.

A lucky pattern cannot be fished out of this skin: there is only ever one.

What the StatTrak™ AK-47 | The Outsiders costs in Field-Tested

The StatTrak version costs almost three times as much as the regular one in the same wear. The other wears of the StatTrak version, relative to this one:

• Factory New costs about 4.6 times as much;

• Minimal Wear is dearer by roughly half;

• Well-Worn costs about 8 percent more;

• Battle-Scarred costs about 9 percent more.

Among Classified StatTrak AK skins in Field-Tested, the finish is fourth from the bottom of eleven. The nearest above is StatTrak™ AK-47 | Point Disarray, and the nearest below is StatTrak™ AK-47 | Phantom Disruptor.

Getting the StatTrak™ AK-47 | The Outsiders

The counter version drops from the Gallery Case, and no other case carries the finish. In a contract a StatTrak skin comes only from ten StatTrak skins, because the game does not accept a mix of regular and StatTrak items.

StatTrak and Souvenir

What sets a StatTrak copy apart from the regular AK-47 | The Outsiders is the kill counter and the price: in Field-Tested the premium is almost threefold. The StatTrak Swap Tool exchanges the counter with another item of the same type, and both numbers stay in the game, only changing owners. The regular version without a counter is a separate item. No Souvenir packages were released for this finish.

Stickers and craft on the StatTrak™ AK-47 | The Outsiders

The base is busy, so small stickers get lost on it, while large ones with a plain outline read. Yellow stickers echo the bus, green ones the patches of paint, and white and dark ones contrast with the orange.

Who this wear suits

The StatTrak™ AK-47 | The Outsiders in Field-Tested is a sensible buy when:

• you want an AK for CS2 with a counter and hand-drawn art;

• the stretch from 0.15 to 0.38 suits you, as a listing can be chosen by the number;

• a CS2 build can bear a premium of about three times over the regular version.
