StatTrak™ AWP | Atheris (Field-Tested)

The StatTrak™ AWP | Atheris in Field-Tested (FT) is a green-and-blue snake on a dark rifle, with a kill counter thrown in. It is Restricted rank, from the Prisma Case and the Prisma Collection. In this wear the counter version costs about twice as much as the regular one. This AWP for CS2 comes in FT for more than four times less than in Factory New.

What the StatTrak™ AWP | Atheris looks like in Field-Tested

The base is dark, with a blue cast on the receiver and stock. The main element is the snake: neon green scales wrap around the rear of the receiver and the stock. Valve calls it a tree viper (atheris), green with blue, hand-painted over a black base.

Green also lights the rings at the muzzle and around the scope lens. Because of them the rifle reads as dark with spots of neon. StatTrak does not change the artwork: the finish is the same as on the regular version.

Where the StatTrak™ AWP | Atheris came from

The finish's author is Graff. The Steam Workshop submission was titled "AWP | Atheris" and was posted on October 29, 2018. The Prisma Collection was released on March 13, 2019, and the StatTrak™ AWP | Atheris has been part of it since the start. In the Valve catalog the finish is number 838.

What to check before buying

Before buying a StatTrak™ AWP | Atheris, check the following:

• the number on the counter: the reading passes to the buyer as it is and cannot be reset;

• the float: the band from 0.15 to 0.38 holds a difference worth comparing several listings for;

• the stickers and name tag already on this copy of the StatTrak™ AWP | Atheris.

The pattern of the StatTrak™ AWP | Atheris is not a lottery, since all copies are identical. The only official mechanic for the counter is the StatTrak Swap Tool, which exchanges the readings of two items of the same type without zeroing either one.

What the StatTrak™ AWP | Atheris costs in Field-Tested

The other wears relative to this one:

• Factory New: over fourfold;

• Minimal Wear: nearly double;

• Well-Worn: about a fifth cheaper;

• Battle-Scarred: about a fifth cheaper.

The regular version in this wear is about half the price of the StatTrak one. Among Restricted AWP skins, the regular Atheris stands between AWP | Exoskeleton above it and AWP | Exothermic below it.

Getting the StatTrak™ AWP | Atheris

The StatTrak™ AWP | Atheris arrives from the Prisma Case, and the skin's collection is the Prisma one as well.

In a trade-up contract, a StatTrak skin can be made only from StatTrak skins: the game does not let regular and StatTrak items be mixed.

StatTrak and Souvenir

If the counter is not needed, the finish has a regular version, AWP | Atheris. It is a separate item, and in this wear it costs half as much. There are no Souvenir packages for this finish.

Stickers and craft on the StatTrak™ AWP | Atheris

A dark background with green neon takes light stickers. Green and light blue ones merge with the snake, so for a craft red, yellow and white are the ones to pick.

Who this wear suits

Buying the StatTrak™ AWP | Atheris in Field-Tested makes sense under these conditions:

• you want a kill counter on a dark AWP with a green snake;

• you pick the float by its number, anywhere within 0.15 to 0.38;

• you have no need to pay the surcharge of more than four times for Factory New.
