The StatTrak™ AWP | Chromatic Aberration in Field-Tested (FT) is an AWP with a kill counter. The finish is of Covert rank, belongs to The Recoil Collection and drops from the Recoil Case. The float of this wear lies between 0.15 and 0.38, a third of the finish's scale. Appearance and origin match the regular version, which is sold as a separate item.
What the counter does
The counter tallies the kills made with this rifle. After purchase the number stays on the item exactly as it was in the listing, and it cannot be reset. The regular version has no counter at all.
There is one way to change the number: the StatTrak Swap Tool exchanges the readings of two items of the same type. Both items stay StatTrak, and each leaves with the other's number.
What the StatTrak™ AWP | Chromatic Aberration costs
The usual order is reversed here. The StatTrak™ AWP | Chromatic Aberration in Field-Tested can be bought for more than a quarter less than the regular version. There is no surcharge for the counter in this wear.
Among Covert StatTrak AWPs this finish is the cheapest in this wear. The nearest in price, the StatTrak™ AWP | Chrome Cannon, costs about 1.7 times as much, and the StatTrak™ AWP | Printstream more than three times.
Within the StatTrak version, Factory New costs about twice as much, and Minimal Wear 1.4 times. Well-Worn costs about a sixth more, while Battle-Scarred is level with this wear.
Getting the StatTrak™ AWP | Chromatic Aberration
The StatTrak™ AWP | Chromatic Aberration drops from the Recoil Case, the same one as the regular version. There is no separate case for StatTrak.
A trade-up contract exists too. All ten inputs must be StatTrak, since the game does not mix regular and StatTrak skins in one trade. Among the inputs you need skins of The Recoil Collection, or this finish will not come out. So building this rifle for CS2 by contract is possible only by gathering ten skins with counters.
