The StatTrak™ AWP | Printstream in Field-Tested (FT) is the kill-counter version, and it costs about three quarters more than the regular build in the same wear. In this wear the float sits between 0.15 and 0.38. Covert rank; the rifle drops from the Fever Case.
What the StatTrak™ AWP | Printstream looks like in Field-Tested
This is a black-and-white rifle: the body is white with a greenish cast, and the grip, butt plate and stock panels are black. The design is built from large crosses on the side of the receiver, blocks of lines like a barcode and a scatter of dots. The pearl layer Valve mentions gives a thin rainbow glint on the scope turret.
In Field-Tested the shine dies out at the receiver edges and by the scope mount, the white there leans gray, and the small lines lose their sharpness. The crosses on the flat side remain whole, and the black stock panels hardly show any wear.
Where the StatTrak™ AWP | Printstream came from
JTPNZ drew the finish, the author of the entire Printstream series on the Steam Workshop. He dressed the AWP submission up as a system message: BIOS version CS2.024, a reboot, a password prompt and a handle-with-care note. Valve's update note names the case in a single line, The Fever Case, and gives no finish descriptions.
The Fever Collection was released on March 31, 2025, and the StatTrak™ AWP | Printstream is in it from the very start. Valve's finish catalog records it under number 1206.
What to check before buying
Several things set one StatTrak™ AWP | Printstream listing apart from another:
- the kill count on the counter, which stays with the item after purchase and cannot be reset;
- the float inside the band, which decides how much gray sits on the receiver edges;
- whatever stickers and name tag this copy of the StatTrak™ AWP | Printstream already carries.
Only the StatTrak Swap Tool exchanges counter readings, and only between items of the same type: no number is lost, it passes to the second rifle.
The artwork on the StatTrak™ AWP | Printstream is one and the same for every copy, so there is no particular one to hunt for. In this wear the stretch is 0.15 to 0.38, which holds both nearly clean bodies and noticeably worn ones.
What the StatTrak™ AWP | Printstream costs in Field-Tested
The kill counter raises the price by about three quarters against the regular version in this same wear. The other wears with a counter, measured against this one:
- Factory New is dearer by more than four times;
- Minimal Wear is dearer by about two thirds;
- Well-Worn is cheaper by about a quarter;
- Battle-Scarred is cheaper by almost one and a half times.
On the regular version the lower wears cost almost the same as this one, but with a counter they fall behind more visibly, so stepping down the scale saves more.
Among Covert AWPs with a counter, this finish stands exactly in the middle of a row of eleven: five are cheaper and five dearer. StatTrak™ AWP | Wildfire sits right above it. Below it, StatTrak™ AWP | Queen's Gambit and StatTrak™ AWP | Hyper Beast are cheaper by an eighth and a little more. The top of the row is held by StatTrak™ AWP | Containment Breach, StatTrak™ AWP | Asiimov and StatTrak™ AWP | Oni Taiji.
Getting the StatTrak™ AWP | Printstream
From the Fever Case the counter version drops instead of the regular one.
A trade-up contract is possible as well. All ten inputs must be StatTrak, because the game does not mix regular and StatTrak skins in one contract. You need ten Classified skins from the collection; it has two Covert finishes, so the odds on this AWP are one in two.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The regular AWP | Printstream without a counter is a separate item with its own page and its own price: in Field-Tested it is cheaper by about two fifths. A souvenir release with a counter does not exist, since souvenir items in the game come without StatTrak.
Stickers and craft on the StatTrak™ AWP | Printstream
The black-and-white base accepts colored stickers: bright ones read, while light and gray ones sink into the graphics. It is better to leave the large crosses on the side of the receiver open and build a CS2 craft on the black stock panels.
Who this wear suits
Buying the StatTrak™ AWP | Printstream here, in Field-Tested, makes sense under these conditions:
- you want a kill counter on a Covert AWP for CS2, not display-case condition of the body;
- price within the counter version matters, and this finish sits in the middle of the row;
- you are ready to choose a listing by float instead of taking the first one that comes up.
A white body without gray edges means taking Factory New, and that asks more than four times as much.
