The StatTrak™ M4A1-S | Liquidation in Field-Tested (FT) is a Restricted rifle with a kill counter. In this wear it costs about three times as much as the regular version. It belongs to The Genesis Collection. The StatTrak version can be bought in all five wears, from Factory New to Battle-Scarred.
What the StatTrak™ M4A1-S | Liquidation looks like in Field-Tested
In Valve's description the finish has a dark base, with red and blue accents arranged so that the M4A1-S seems to glow in diffuse light. For this wear the float is 0.15 to 0.38. The artwork is applied identically across the run, and a copy's wear is decided at the moment it drops and never changes.
Where the StatTrak™ M4A1-S | Liquidation came from
Mei is the credited designer. On August 7, 2024, an author going by n1 posted the Steam Workshop submission, titled "M4A1-S | Quick liquidation". Valve's catalog lists the finish as number 1340.
Valve released The Genesis Collection on September 16, 2025, and this skin has been in the set from the start. In its release note, Valve called the collection seventeen finishes by community authors.
What to check before buying
Before paying for a StatTrak™ M4A1-S | Liquidation, weigh these points:
- the number on the kill counter: the buyer receives it unchanged and cannot reset it;
- float: the wear stretches from 0.15 to 0.38, so listings from the two ends of the band are worth comparing with each other;
- stickers and name tag already on this StatTrak™ M4A1-S | Liquidation.
The artwork is the same on every copy, so there is no special one to hunt for. The counter can be swapped with the StatTrak Swap Tool against an item of the same type, which hands over its own reading in return.
What the StatTrak™ M4A1-S | Liquidation costs in Field-Tested
The regular version is about three times cheaper in this wear. Within the StatTrak line, the wears compare like this:
- Factory New is almost five times pricier;
- Minimal Wear is twice as pricey;
- Well-Worn is cheaper by a factor of 1.39;
- Battle-Scarred is cheaper by a factor of 1.75.
Of the eight Restricted M4A1-S skins with a counter, this one is fifth from the bottom by price. The next step up is the StatTrak™ M4A1-S | Basilisk, about three and a half times dearer, and below it stands the StatTrak™ M4A1-S | Electrum, roughly a third cheaper.
Getting the StatTrak™ M4A1-S | Liquidation
Skins of The Genesis Collection come out of the Sealed Genesis Terminal.
A trade-up for the counter version takes ten skins of the rank below, also with StatTrak, since the game refuses to mix normal and StatTrak items. The set holds five Restricted skins, so the chance of this rifle is one in five.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The plain M4A1-S | Liquidation without a counter is listed separately, and in Field-Tested it costs about a third as much. A Souvenir with StatTrak does not exist: only a skin without a counter can be made into a souvenir.
Stickers and craft on the StatTrak™ M4A1-S | Liquidation
The base of the finish is dark, and light stickers show up best against it. Red and blue stickers merge with the accents that Valve names in its description.
Who this wear suits
This wear of the StatTrak™ M4A1-S | Liquidation fits you under these conditions:
- you want a kill counter on an M4A1-S for CS2, not only the look of the finish;
- balance matters: Factory New with a counter costs almost five times more, while Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred sit below FT by 1.39 and 1.75 times;
- you need a dark base under light stickers.
If the counter does not matter, the regular version in the same wear comes in at about a third of the price.
