The StatTrak™ M4A4 | Temukau in Field-Tested (FT) is the version with a kill counter, which adds about a sixth to the price of the regular edition. For this wear the float runs from 0.15 to 0.38. Covert in rank, the rifle drops from the Revolution Case.
What the StatTrak™ M4A4 | Temukau looks like in Field-Tested
The finish reads like a magazine page in a Japanese-animation vein: white base, light-blue panels, pink lines. On the side of the receiver stands a counter-terrorist girl with lilac hair, surrounded by glyphs and a round pink seal bearing the word START. The barrel is dark and the front sight is pink.
Where the StatTrak™ M4A4 | Temukau came from
The finish was drawn by f0rnez. On November 10, 2022 he sent the second version of the work to the Steam Workshop under the title M4A4 | Temukau V2. He writes that the girl is meeting a rush: grenades fly around her and she has to run through smoke, but the position must be held. Valve's caption for the finish repeats the thought: "Stand your ground!"
The finish's number in Valve's catalog is 1228. The Revolution Collection was released on February 9, 2023, and the StatTrak™ M4A4 | Temukau has been part of the set since launch.
What to check before buying
Choosing a particular copy comes down to these points:
- the number on the counter: the reading passes to the buyer as it stands and cannot be reset, so the figure itself is worth a look in the listing;
- float within the 0.15 to 0.38 band;
- the stickers and name tag already on this particular copy.
The picture is hard-set and identical on every copy. Pick by the float number, not by the wear label: a band of 0.15 to 0.38 is wide.
What the StatTrak™ M4A4 | Temukau costs in Field-Tested
The counter adds about a sixth to the price of the regular version in this wear. The only official handle on a reading is the StatTrak Swap Tool, which exchanges the counters of two items of the same type, losing neither number.
Within the counter version, the other wears stand against this one like so:
- Factory New costs almost five times as much;
- Minimal Wear costs a little over twice as much;
- Well-Worn costs about a tenth more;
- Battle-Scarred is cheaper by more than a fifth.
Of the twelve Covert M4A4s with a counter in this wear, the finish is second cheapest, with only StatTrak™ M4A4 | In Living Color below it. Next come M4A4 | Desert-Strike and M4A4 | Neo-Noir, both with the counter.
Getting the StatTrak™ M4A4 | Temukau
The counter version drops from the Revolution Case just as the regular one does. In a trade-up contract a StatTrak skin can come only from ten inputs. All of them must be StatTrak too: the game does not let you mix regular and StatTrak skins.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The regular edition without a counter is a separate product with its own listing page. If you have no need to count kills, that is the one to look for: in Field-Tested it is cheaper by about a seventh. The finish never had souvenir packages.
Stickers and craft on the StatTrak™ M4A4 | Temukau
The scene with the girl fills the side of the receiver, which leaves the handguard, stock and magazine for stickers. Against the pink and blue stripes dark stickers stand out better, while light ones get lost on the white panels. It is best not to cover the scene: the glyphs around the figure are part of the artwork.
Who this wear suits
Field-Tested with a counter suits you if any of these apply:
- you want a kill counter on an anime M4A4 and a surcharge of a sixth of the price is acceptable;
- you want the lowest price among Covert M4A4s with a counter, with only In Living Color below it;
- the artwork matters to you, and the only things that vary by copy are the float and the number on the counter.
For CS2, a kill counter adds nothing to the shooting; it is the owner's mark. If you do not need the mark, the regular Field-Tested costs less.
