The SSG 08 | Azure Glyph (Field-Tested, FT) carries the blue water and hieroglyph design with a moderate amount of visible wear. It's the classic middle grade for this Anubis-themed scout skin.
Design
The SSG 08 is custom painted with a blue water motif and Egyptian hieroglyphs, finished with wood grain detailing running the length of the weapon. Community designer Slimek built the look, and the line "Flood warning" plays on the water imagery.
SSG 08 | Azure Glyph (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Azure Glyph runs from 0.01 to 0.99 float, and Field-Tested sits roughly in the middle. Expect light scuffing on raised edges and a slight dulling of the wood grain, though the hieroglyph etching and blue tones stay clearly readable overall.
SSG 08 | Azure Glyph Rarity
Rarity: Industrial Grade, the light-blue tier — a step up from the most common rarity but still on the accessible end of the ladder. It's not a difficult skin to add to a collection.
SSG 08 | Azure Glyph Case and Collection
Azure Glyph is part of The Anubis Collection, tied to the Anubis Collection update from April 2023. There's no weapon case behind it; copies circulate through the collection itself and the open market instead.
SSG 08 | Azure Glyph Patterns
The design sits in a fixed spot on every copy of Azure Glyph, so the paint seed doesn't change how it looks and there's no blue-gem variant worth chasing. Wear grade and float are the only real differences between copies.
StatTrak & Souvenir
Azure Glyph has no StatTrak version. It does exist as a Souvenir finish, first handed out at the Paris 2023 Anubis Souvenir Package and in further Major souvenir packages after that debut. The regular finish covered on this page is distinct from those Souvenir copies.
SSG 08 | Azure Glyph Price
Field-Tested sits below Minimal Wear (MW) and Factory New (FN) on the price ladder, offering the design at a lower cost with a bit more visible wear. It's a practical affordable mid-tier pick. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does Field-Tested hide the hieroglyph detail?
Not much. The etching and blue water tones stay legible even with the light scuffing typical of this grade, so the Egyptian theme still comes through clearly in-game. It's a reasonable middle-ground choice for buyers who don't need a pristine surface.
Is Field-Tested the best value grade?
For most buyers, yes. It costs less than the top two grades while keeping the design easy to read, making it a practical pick unless a spotless finish specifically matters to you.
Is there a StatTrak Field-Tested Azure Glyph?
No, StatTrak was never produced for this finish at any wear grade. A Souvenir version exists instead, sourced from Major-tournament packages rather than regular drops.
