Sticker Slab | apEX (Foil) | Krakow 2017

The AUG | Signal Scanner (Battle-Scarred, BS) is the most heavily worn grade of this Mil-Spec rifle skin, reaching the full extent of its float range. It's the cheapest way to bring the recon-styled design into a loadout.

Design

Community artist RipSkins built the Signal Scanner around multicolored accents on a matte black base, meant to evoke specialized reconnaissance equipment. It carries the flavor line: "> Attempting to reconnect ... ... ..." and fits The Spy Tech Collection's theme.

AUG | Signal Scanner (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

Unlike some finishes, the Signal Scanner's float runs the full 0.00 to 1.00 range, so Battle-Scarred here reaches the heaviest wear the skin can show. Expect substantial scuffing and paint loss, though the multicolored accents remain visible against the worn black base.

AUG | Signal Scanner Rarity

Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the blue tier that forms the base of most weapon-collection skins, below Restricted, Classified, and Covert. It's a common tier at any wear grade.

AUG | Signal Scanner Case and Collection

This finish is part of The Spy Tech Collection, launched with the Armory / Season 5 update in July 2026. It has no weapon case tied to it, coming instead from collection drops or trade-up contracts.

AUG | Signal Scanner Patterns

The multicolored design is fixed across every copy — no paint seed shifts its layout, so there's no rare pattern to search for on this finish. Wear grade and float number are what actually separate copies.

StatTrak & Souvenir

This finish has no StatTrak or Souvenir version — it exists only as a regular skin. Souvenir editions come only from Major-tournament packages, and the Signal Scanner has never been included in one.

AUG | Signal Scanner Price

Battle-Scarred is the lowest-priced grade on the Signal Scanner's ladder, the cheapest entry point into the design. Being a recent release, prices across the whole line are still finding their footing. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does Battle-Scarred reach the maximum possible wear?

Yes. The Signal Scanner's float runs the full 0.00 to 1.00 range with no cap, so Battle-Scarred copies can reach the heaviest wear a skin is capable of showing. The design stays identifiable, just clearly battered.

Is Battle-Scarred the cheapest way to get this skin?

Yes, it's the lowest grade on the price ladder for the Signal Scanner. It's a solid option if you want the design in your loadout without paying for a cleaner surface.

Why is pricing for this skin still uncertain?

The AUG | Signal Scanner only released in July 2026 with The Spy Tech Collection, so the market hasn't had enough time or trading volume to settle into a firm price tier across its wear grades, Battle-Scarred included.
