Tec-9 | Bamboozle (Field-Tested)

The Tec-9 | Bamboozle in Field-Tested (FT) covers the float band of 0.15 to 0.38. It is a Restricted skin from the Prisma collection for Terrorists in CS2: a green slide on a brown frame.

What the Tec-9 | Bamboozle looks like in Field-Tested

The slide and the top of the receiver are apple green, worn in places down to golden-brown metal. The frame and grip are faded, brown-gray. The magazine is an even gray.

The green is only on top: the slide with its cutouts and the receiver. The underside, grip and magazine are in a dull range, so the weapon looks assembled from different parts. On the side are two small blue-and-white decals that look like labels, with a stamped inscription beside them, the text illegible. A round logo sits on the grip.

The wear is written into the skin itself: the green paint is chipped along the edges and at the cutouts, and brass-brown metal shows through. Wear is fixed at drop.

Where the Tec-9 | Bamboozle came from

The skin arrived with the Prisma Case and the Prisma collection, per the data set in March 2019. Valve describes it as a custom bamboo paint job. The tagline reads "Don't be deceived".

What to check before buying

Before taking a Tec-9 | Bamboozle, buyers look at these points:

• float: nearer 0.15 the green slide is better preserved, and nearer 0.38 there is more wear down to metal;

• pattern: there is no choice by it as such;

• name tag and stickers, if they are already on this Tec-9 | Bamboozle.

What the Tec-9 | Bamboozle costs in Field-Tested

Factory New costs 10.23 times as much, and Minimal Wear 2.12 times. Well-Worn is cheaper by a factor of 1.04, and Battle-Scarred is level.

Among the Restricted skins for the Tec-9, this one is third from the bottom in this wear. Brother and Red Quartz are cheaper by about 40 percent. Above it are Re-Entry at a bit more than twice, Avalanche at three times and Whiteout at four times. Titanium Bit and Nuclear Threat cost noticeably more.

Getting the Tec-9 | Bamboozle

The skin drops from the Prisma Case. For a contract that yields the Tec-9 | Bamboozle, you gather ten skins of the rank below from this collection.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The skin has a StatTrak version and no Souvenir version.

Stickers and craft on the Tec-9 | Bamboozle

The green top and brown bottom give two different fields. Stickers on the frame land on a dull brown-gray background, while on the slide they compete with the green. The blue-and-white labels on the side already take up some of the room, and the rest is free.

Who this wear suits

The Tec-9 | Bamboozle in Field-Tested makes sense in these cases:

• you want a green slide with chipped paint and a brown underside;

• choosing a listing by float inside the band of 0.15 to 0.38 works for you;

• the StatTrak version, which the skin has, matters to you.
