Tec-9 | Decimator (Minimal Wear)

Minimal Wear (MW) on the Tec-9 | Decimator takes the band from 0.07 to 0.15, or 11% of the finish's wear scale. The rank is Classified, the collection is The Shattered Web Collection, and the case is the Shattered Web Case.

What the Tec-9 | Decimator looks like in Minimal Wear

The skin is done in neon tones. There is a raspberry shroud with round openings, a dark slide with a light blue edge, and a gray receiver with thin lines. The magazine and grip are black, with light blue and pink facets running over them like the wireframe of a 3D model.

In Minimal Wear the artwork is intact, and signs of wear show only along the edges of the slide and receiver. The float is set when the skin drops and does not grow.

Where the Tec-9 | Decimator came from

The finish came out on November 19, 2019. That day Valve opened the Shattered Web operation and added four new knives, which come out of the case of the same name. The data holds no Workshop submission for this skin.

What to check before buying

A Tec-9 | Decimator listing is chosen by these signs:

• float: the 0.07 to 0.15 stretch is short, and the difference between listings falls within the margin of error;

• stickers on the body of the Tec-9 | Decimator, and a name tag if there is one;

• StatTrak: the version exists and sells as a separate listing.

Copies of the Tec-9 | Decimator differ only in wear: the artwork is shared.

What the Tec-9 | Decimator costs in Minimal Wear

Relative to this wear:

• Factory New costs 2.6 times as much;

• Field-Tested costs 2.1 times less;

• Well-Worn costs 1.7 times less;

• Battle-Scarred costs 2.1 times less.

The gap between Minimal Wear and Well-Worn is small, while Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred cost almost the same. Among Classified Tec-9s this skin in MW is the dearest. The Tec-9 | Fuel Injector is a little over twice as cheap, and the Tec-9 | Remote Control about eight times.

Getting the Tec-9 | Decimator

Cases of the Shattered Web line are where the skin drops. For the Tec-9 | Decimator, a trade-up takes ten skins one rank down, for example AK-47 | Rat Rod and MP7 | Neon Ply. If you assemble the ten from there, the collection has three Classified skins and the chance at this one is one in three.

StatTrak and Souvenir

StatTrak exists for the Tec-9 | Decimator; there were no Souvenir packages.

Stickers and craft on the Tec-9 | Decimator

The mesh on the magazine and the raspberry shroud make the artwork dense, and a sticker reads poorly on them. There is clean space on the gray receiver. White and light blue stickers suit the palette, while red and yellow ones would argue with it.

Who this wear suits

Minimal Wear on the Tec-9 | Decimator is worth it under these conditions:

• you want a nearly factory look in CS2 at 2.6 times less than Factory New;

• a predictable listing matters: across 0.07 to 0.15 the copies look alike;

• you want a Classified Tec-9 in a neon palette.
