Tec-9 | Rebel in Field-Tested (FT) is a Mil-Spec Tec-9 for CS2 with a collage of muted tones and graffiti. The float band of this wear lies between 0.15 and 0.38, while the skin's full scale goes up to 1.00. It drops from the Revolution Case, and its collection shares that name.
What the Tec-9 | Rebel looks like in Field-Tested
The base is dark, made of olive, brown and black patches, with orange inserts. Scattered drawings in the spirit of street graffiti run over it: on the magazine, for example, there are black marker inscriptions. The barrel shroud with round holes is dark gray, and the ribbed grip is light beige. According to Valve, the drawings are assembled from different, loosely connected motifs in a muted palette.
Wear is fixed at the drop. In Field-Tested the metal on the edges is already lightening, and the stretch from 0.15 to 0.38 holds nearly clean copies and visibly worn ones alike.
Where the Tec-9 | Rebel came from
The Tec-9 | Rebel has been in the Revolution Collection since it came out on February 10, 2023. Valve launched the Revolution Case that day, with seventeen community-made finishes.
What to check before buying
In a listing of the Tec-9 | Rebel, check these parameters:
- float: look for the Tec-9 | Rebel by the number and not by the wear label, since the band from 0.15 to 0.38 is wide;
- stickers and a name tag already on this particular copy of the Tec-9 | Rebel;
- artwork: the pattern index changes nothing on the Tec-9 | Rebel.
What the Tec-9 | Rebel costs in Field-Tested
Factory New costs three and a half times as much as Field-Tested, and Minimal Wear a seventh more. The lower wears, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred, do not differ in price from Field-Tested.
Among Mil-Spec Tec-9 skins, the Rebel is the cheapest in this wear. Slag costs more than a third more, Cracked Opal one and a half times as much or more, and Fubar almost twice as much. Ice Cap and Flash Out cost two and a half times as much, while Cut Out, Toxic and Terrace cost tens and hundreds of times more.
Getting the Tec-9 | Rebel
The route to the Tec-9 | Rebel runs through the Revolution Case. A contract cannot produce this skin: Mil-Spec is the lowest rank in its collection, and a trade-up returns a skin one rank above its inputs.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The Tec-9 | Rebel has a StatTrak version. No Souvenir packages exist for this finish, but a souvenir copy can be built through the Souvenir-O-Matic.
Stickers and craft on the Tec-9 | Rebel
The background is noisy, made of dark patches and lettering, and a small sticker gets lost in it. Large light stickers read better, and the grip, with its plain beige knurling, remains the calmest spot.
Who this wear suits
Field-Tested is worth buying for the Tec-9 | Rebel for these reasons:
- you want the cheapest Mil-Spec Tec-9 for CS2, with graffiti on the magazine;
- you want a Tec-9 for the Terrorist side with a dark collage and orange inserts;
- you need a float from the middle of the stretch from 0.15 to 0.38.
