Factory New (FN) on the Tec-9 | Whiteout means an untouched cream-white fill without a single dark mark on the edges. It is Restricted, from the Train 2025 Collection, with no ordinary case. The skin's float starts at 0.06, so this wear takes a band only one hundredth wide.
What the Tec-9 | Whiteout looks like in Factory New
The whole pistol is coated in an even cream-white: the shroud with its round holes, the receiver, the grip and the long magazine. There is a stamped marking on the body and fine knurling on the grip, and otherwise the surface is smooth. The only dark parts left are the shroud holes themselves, the barrel and the trigger.
Factory New has no marks and no gray edges. The skin has no artwork to pull the eye away, so all the value of this wear lies in the untouched fill.
Where the Tec-9 | Whiteout came from
The Train 2025 Collection came out on March 31, 2025, and this pistol has been part of the set from the start. In the update note Valve limited itself to the name of the collection.
What to check before buying
Worth confirming on a listing:
- the float: values here run from 0.06 to 0.07;
- the rims of the shroud holes and the bevels of the grip: on a factory-fresh copy they have no gray spots;
- a name tag and stickers, if they are already on this pistol.
The skin has no pattern, and listings do not differ in artwork. There is hardly anything to choose by float either, since the 0.06 to 0.07 band is short.
What the Tec-9 | Whiteout costs in Factory New
The lower wears are cheaper, by these factors:
- Minimal Wear by 11.4 times;
- Field-Tested by 69 times;
- Well-Worn by 115 times;
- Battle-Scarred by 130 times.
The scale explains the gap: the finish starts at 0.06, and Factory New gets one hundredth of the 0.06 to 1.00 range. Among seven Restricted Tec-9 skins, this one is the most expensive in this wear, with six cheaper. The nearest below is the Tec-9 | Titanium Bit, three times cheaper. The Tec-9 | Avalanche, the Tec-9 | Re-Entry and the Tec-9 | Bamboozle cost tens of times less.
Getting the Tec-9 | Whiteout
The second road to it is a contract of ten skins one rank lower, with a one in three chance if they all come from this collection. Copies come from the Austin 2025 Train and Budapest 2025 Train Souvenir packages.
StatTrak and Souvenir
This pistol has no StatTrak version, though Souvenir copies exist.
Stickers and craft on the Tec-9 | Whiteout
On a white field, dark and bright stickers work best. Light and gray ones get lost. On a factory-fresh copy a sticker covers perfectly clean paint, so pick the spot in advance: the side of the grip or the magazine.
Who this wear suits
Factory New makes sense when:
- you want a white pistol without a single mark;
- predictability within 0.06 to 0.07 matters;
- the pistol goes in a CS2 showcase rather than into play.
