The UMP-45 | Continuum in Minimal Wear (MW) is a blue and teal SMG with black lines fanning out from the center of the body. The float band for this wear runs from 0.07 to 0.15, which is 8 percent of the finish's scale, and that scale goes up to 1.00. The rank is Restricted, and the skin belongs to The Genesis Collection.
What the UMP-45 | Continuum looks like in Minimal Wear
The receiver sides, magazine, grip and stock are painted blue and teal green, with thin black lines laid over them. The lines spread like a funnel from the center of the side panel above the trigger guard, much like topographic arcs. On the stock, the blue carries bright light-blue inserts beside the cutouts. The foregrip and the lower part of the magazine stay silver metal, while the top cover, the rail and the trigger group are dark gray.
Valve describes the finish as alternating black and blue stripes and captions it "into the void."
The thin lines break first along the receiver edges, at the magazine corners and on the stock frame around the holes. The center of the funnel on the side panel holds out longer, but one chip down to bright metal tears the pattern at once.
Where the UMP-45 | Continuum came from
The skin arrived on September 16, 2025, when The Genesis Collection was added to the game. Its author is cimota. On the Workshop the piece was called "UMP-45 | ILLUMINA v2" and was published on October 23, 2023. The number in Valve's catalog is 1351.
The author wrote a single line about the work: when you fire, the weapon's surface reflects a bright, mesmerizing flash of light.
What to check before buying
Before buying the UMP-45 | Continuum, a few points deserve a look:
- the float: the band is 0.07 to 0.15, and the lines are more intact toward the low end;
- the funnel of lines on the side panel, the receiver edges and the stock frame around the holes;
- the name tag and stickers this UMP-45 | Continuum already carries.
Copies of the UMP-45 | Continuum differ only in wear, because the artwork is common to all of them. Between 0.07 and 0.15 the look does not change.
What the UMP-45 | Continuum costs in Minimal Wear
The other wears relate to this one like so:
- Factory New is 2.2 times pricier;
- Field-Tested is 2.1 times cheaper;
- Well-Worn is 2.6 times cheaper;
- Battle-Scarred is 3.2 times cheaper.
Among Restricted UMP-45s in this wear the skin sits in the middle: four are cheaper and four are dearer. The nearest one above is UMP-45 | Scaffold, and the nearest below is UMP-45 | Exposure. At the top stand UMP-45 | Gold Bismuth and UMP-45 | Crime Scene.
Getting the UMP-45 | Continuum
The skin comes out of the Sealed Genesis Terminal rather than a case. To trade up into the UMP-45 | Continuum, you assemble ten skins one tier below from the same collection.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The UMP-45 | Continuum has a StatTrak version, and no Souvenir packages were issued for this finish.
Stickers and craft on the UMP-45 | Continuum
A dark blue-teal base with black lines takes light and light-blue stickers well. The silver grip and the lower part of the magazine are free, since the background there is even. Leave the center of the funnel on the side panel open, because the pattern is built around it.
Who this wear suits
The UMP-45 | Continuum in Minimal Wear is a reasonable buy if:
- you want a cool-toned UMP-45 in CS2 with a funnel of lines that is still intact;
- you want a cheaper option, since Factory New costs more than twice as much;
- you care about the finish of an author whose Workshop submission was titled ILLUMINA.
If the lines have to be free of a single chip, take Factory New: Minimal Wear already shows the first marks on the edges.
