Description

Well-Worn (WW) is the wear one step above the worst for the UMP-45 | Continuum, a CS2 submachine gun in a turquoise-blue palette with black rays radiating over the body. Restricted rank. The finish lies in the Sealed Genesis Terminal and has no case. Its float runs from 0.00 to 1.00, and Well-Worn takes the stretch 0.38 to 0.45, which is 7% of the scale.

What the UMP-45 | Continuum looks like in Well-Worn

In Valve's wording, the finish is alternating black and blue stripes. The body is dark turquoise, black rays spread from the center to the edges, and bright light-blue glints fall on the stock. The magazine is light and silvery with black stripes, the foregrip is silver as well, and the top cover and the rail are dark gray.

Wear is fixed at the drop, and Well-Worn is the second-to-last wear of the finish: three others are cleaner than it. The span of this wear on the UMP-45 | Continuum is between 0.38 and 0.45.

Where the UMP-45 | Continuum came from

The finish was drawn by cimota. In the Steam Workshop the work was called UMP-45 | ILLUMINA v2 and appeared there on October 23, 2023. By the author's account, the gun's surface throws back a bright, hypnotic flash of light when it fires.

The Genesis Collection was released on September 16, 2025, and the UMP-45 | Continuum has been part of it since the launch. Valve's catalog lists the finish under number 1351.

What to check before buying

Choosing a particular UMP-45 | Continuum comes down to these points:

  • float: check the number before paying, even though the band is short;

  • name tag and stickers, which stay on the listing of the UMP-45 | Continuum;

  • the wear in the listing name: the finish has all five wears, from Factory New to Battle-Scarred.

There are no two different patterns on the UMP-45 | Continuum. The 0.38 to 0.45 band is tight, and the outermost listings differ only by the number.

What the UMP-45 | Continuum costs in Well-Worn

Measured against Well-Worn, the other wears come out like this:

  • Factory New is about five and a half times pricier;

  • Minimal Wear costs about 2.5 times as much;

  • Field-Tested costs a few percent more;

  • Battle-Scarred is about a quarter cheaper.

Among Restricted UMP-45 finishes in this wear, this one is third from the bottom: Arctic Wolf is cheaper by a few percent and Plastique by a tenth. Moonrise is a little over a quarter higher, Exposure almost double and Scaffold two and a half times. The top of the row is Gold Bismuth and Crime Scene.

Getting the UMP-45 | Continuum

The UMP-45 | Continuum sits in the Sealed Genesis Terminal, and the wear comes out at random when it opens. A trade-up also works: it takes ten skins of the rank below from the same set. There are five Restricted skins in the collection, so the chance of landing this one is one in five.

StatTrak and Souvenir

A StatTrak version of the UMP-45 | Continuum exists. No Souvenir packages were made for this finish, since they were produced only for the tournament map collections. But a Souvenir copy can be put together by hand: the Souvenir-O-Matic applies gold tournament stickers and a player autograph to a regular skin from the inventory. So the odd Souvenir copy does turn up now and then, even where no packages ever existed.

Stickers and craft on the UMP-45 | Continuum

On the turquoise body, light stickers read better than dark ones, because the black rays of the pattern merge with a sticker's dark outline. The calmest areas are the silver magazine and the foregrip. The center, where the rays converge, is best left free.

Who this wear suits

Buying the UMP-45 | Continuum in Well-Worn is right if at least one of these fits:

  • you want a turquoise-blue SMG for CS2 without paying extra for a clean body;

  • Field-Tested costs a quarter more and a little over, and price matters more;

  • the 0.38 to 0.45 band suits you, because listings in it differ only by the float number.
