Description

The USP-S | Alpine Camo in Battle-Scarred (BS) is the most worn version of the camouflage pistol. Its wear band runs from 0.45 to 0.68. This skin has its own ceiling of 0.68, so the wear takes up 34% of its scale. The rank is Mil-Spec, and the skin comes from The Sport & Field Collection.

What the USP-S | Alpine Camo looks like in Battle-Scarred

The skin is built on two camouflage zones. Light blue, white and dark blotches sit on the slide and frame, while on the suppressor the blotches shift to a lilac tone. The grip and the lower part of the pistol are filled with a flat blue-violet and carry no pattern. Valve describes the skin as a blue-violet camouflage.

In Battle-Scarred the artwork stays where it is, but the paint is rubbed away along the slide edges, at the barrel muzzle and on the rim of the suppressor. Wear is fixed when the skin drops, so the float on a listing stays what it was. The 0.68 ceiling means no copy goes beyond this level of scuffing.

Where the USP-S | Alpine Camo came from

The skin is part of The Sport & Field Collection, which came out in October 2024. On July 8, 2026, Valve announced in an update note that this collection is no longer available in the Armory.

What to check before buying

Before taking a USP-S | Alpine Camo, look at these points:

  • float: a noticeable difference in scuffing fits between 0.45 and 0.68;

  • the slide edges and the rim of the suppressor, where the marks of wear can be seen in the listing preview;

  • the name tag and stickers applied to it, which go with the listing.

The USP-S | Alpine Camo has no pattern roll, and every copy is the same. The 0.45 to 0.68 stretch is a long one, and the copies at either end differ clearly.

What the USP-S | Alpine Camo costs in Battle-Scarred

Battle-Scarred is the lowest rung of the skin's price ladder. The other wears, measured against it:

  • Factory New is more than four times as expensive;

  • Minimal Wear costs exactly twice as much;

  • Field-Tested costs about a third more;

  • Well-Worn costs about an eighth more.

Within the Mil-Spec USP-S group the skin lands below the midline of the rank in this wear: five skins are cheaper and eight are more expensive. The three closest below include USP-S | Night Ops, and the cheapest of all is USP-S | PC-GRN. USP-S | Business Class takes the top of the rank.

Getting the USP-S | Alpine Camo

The USP-S | Alpine Camo does not drop from CS2 cases. A contract for it is made of ten skins one rank lower from a single collection, for instance with PP-Bizon | Cold Cell. There are four Mil-Spec skins in The Sport & Field Collection, so the odds of the one you want are one in four.

StatTrak and Souvenir

Valve never issued a StatTrak version of this skin. The finish also had no Souvenir packages, since only the tournament map collections got them. You can still build a Souvenir copy on your own: the Souvenir-O-Matic adds gold tournament stickers and a player's autograph to an ordinary skin in your inventory. That explains why single Souvenir copies surface now and then, even where no packages were ever released.

Stickers and craft on the USP-S | Alpine Camo

Camouflage blotches cover the slide and the suppressor from end to end, and a small sticker melts into the pattern there. The grip is a single flat color, and a sticker shows clearly on it.

Who this wear suits

Battle-Scarred is the one to take for the USP-S | Alpine Camo if at least one of these fits:

  • you want a USP-S in blue-violet camouflage at the lowest price this skin has in any wear;

  • marks of wear on the slide edges do not bother you;

  • the pistol is being assembled around CS2 stickers, and clean paint is not needed.

For an even look the closest option is Well-Worn, which costs an eighth more.
