The USP-S | Alpine Camo in Factory New (FN) is the top grade of the blue-violet camouflage, with paint that wear has not touched. Its float band runs from 0.00 to 0.07, which is 10% of the skin's scale, and that scale ends at 0.68. The rank is Mil-Spec, and this wear is sold as a listing of its own.
What the USP-S | Alpine Camo looks like in Factory New
Across the slide and frame the blotches are light blue and white with dark inserts. On the suppressor the same layout turns lilac and purple. The grip is filled with an even blue-violet, and the underside of the magazine is closed off by a dark plate.
Factory New has no pale scuffs: the blotches are sharply outlined, and the slide edges and the end of the suppressor keep their original color. The 0.00 to 0.07 band is narrow, so listings within it look the same.
Where the USP-S | Alpine Camo came from
The Sport & Field Collection was released in October 2024, and the USP-S | Alpine Camo has been part of it from the start. Valve's update note says the collection was removed from the Armory on July 8, 2026.
What to check before buying
Few things separate one copy from another in this wear:
- float within 0.00 to 0.07: the closer to zero, the cleaner the slide edges;
- the suppressor, which carries the lilac part of the camouflage, where scuffs show immediately;
- any name tag and stickers on the body, which pass to the buyer along with the USP-S | Alpine Camo.
The USP-S | Alpine Camo has no pattern variants, so there is nothing to choose on that front. And within 0.00 to 0.07 there is no best copy to hunt for.
What the USP-S | Alpine Camo costs in Factory New
No wear of this skin costs more. For comparison:
- Minimal Wear costs about half as much;
- Field-Tested costs a third as much;
- Well-Worn is more than three and a half times cheaper;
- Battle-Scarred is more than four times cheaper.
Among the fifteen Mil-Spec USP-S skins in factory-fresh condition, this one sits at the very bottom. Only USP-S | PC-GRN is cheaper, and one more USP-S skin is level with it. Next come USP-S | Check Engine, USP-S | Torque and USP-S | Night Ops, about a third more expensive. The top of the rank belongs to USP-S | Stainless, USP-S | Blueprint and USP-S | Business Class.
Getting the USP-S | Alpine Camo
No case in CS2 contains this skin. The alternative to buying it is a trade-up: ten skins one rank lower from the same set produce a USP-S | Alpine Camo. FAMAS | Half Sleeve, for example, is a valid input.
StatTrak and Souvenir
This skin was never released with StatTrak. No Souvenir packages exist for the finish either, since those were made only for the tournament map collections. A Souvenir copy can still be assembled by hand, though: the Souvenir-O-Matic applies gold tournament stickers and a player autograph to an ordinary skin from your inventory. That is why a rare Souvenir copy turns up now and then even where no package ever existed.
Stickers and craft on the USP-S | Alpine Camo
On clean paint you can see exactly where the blotch boundaries run, which helps when choosing a spot for a sticker. The even grip and the plate on the magazine have no pattern on them. The cool colors of most stickers sit well within the skin's palette.
Who this wear suits
Factory New is the right buy for the USP-S | Alpine Camo when:
- you want untouched paint with no pale edges;
- the USP-S is being put together for a CS2 craft and the camouflage blotches need to be crisp;
- paying twice as much as for Minimal Wear does not put you off.
If some wear is acceptable, Minimal Wear costs half as much.
