The USP-S | Alpine Camo in Field-Tested (FT) is the middle of the wear scale, where the mottled paint is already worn. For this wear the USP-S | Alpine Camo has a float of 0.15 to 0.38. Its rank is Mil-Spec, and it belongs to The Sport & Field Collection. The finish exists in all five wears, so a USP-S for CS2 can be chosen in any of them.
What the USP-S | Alpine Camo looks like in Field-Tested
The camouflage is in a cold palette: light blue and white blotches with dark flecks on the slide and frame, and the same blotches shifted toward violet on the suppressor. The grip is painted a flat blue-lilac, with no pattern. The finish is light, so the dark parts contrast sharply against it.
In Field-Tested the paint carries signs of wear, but the camouflage still reads across the whole pistol. For this wear the USP-S | Alpine Camo spans 0.15 to 0.38, and listings from the ends of the stretch look different. That is 34% of the scale from 0.00 to 0.68.
Where the USP-S | Alpine Camo came from
The finish belongs to The Sport & Field Collection, which came out on October 2, 2024. On July 8, 2026 Valve took the collection out of the Armory: the update note names it together with Train 2025.
What to check before buying
Picking a particular USP-S | Alpine Camo comes down to these points:
- float: at the ends of the stretch the wear looks different;
- the state of the suppressor, which carries the violet part of the camouflage;
- the name tag and stickers this USP-S | Alpine Camo already carries.
The pattern of the USP-S | Alpine Camo repeats from listing to listing without change, so what gets compared is wear and what has been applied.
What the USP-S | Alpine Camo costs in Field-Tested
The other wears relative to this one:
- Factory New costs more than three times as much;
- Minimal Wear costs one and a half times as much;
- Well-Worn costs about a tenth more;
- Battle-Scarred costs a fifth less.
The cheapest wear of the finish is Battle-Scarred, with Field-Tested next.
Among Mil-Spec USP-S skins in this wear, the finish sits in the lower half. The closest one above is USP-S | Check Engine, while USP-S | Silent Shot, USP-S | Tropical Breeze and USP-S | PC-GRN are cheaper. The priciest of this rank is USP-S | Business Class.
Getting the USP-S | Alpine Camo
No CS2 case contains the USP-S | Alpine Camo. The Armory used to hand the finish out, until the collection was taken off it.
A contract of ten skins one rank down from a single collection builds the USP-S | Alpine Camo. Those are Industrial Grade skins, for example AK-47 | Olive Polycam or MAG-7 | Wildwood. The Sport & Field Collection has four Mil-Spec skins, so the odds are one in four.
StatTrak and Souvenir
A StatTrak version of the USP-S | Alpine Camo was not released. No Souvenir packages exist for this finish either, since those were made only for tournament map collections. But a Souvenir copy can be built by hand: the Souvenir-O-Matic puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on an ordinary skin from the inventory. So the occasional Souvenir copy turns up even where no package ever existed.
Stickers and craft on the USP-S | Alpine Camo
The camouflage is small and mottled, so a sticker on the slide fights the blotches. The flat blue-lilac grip is calmer: the background there has no pattern, and white stickers show well.
Who this wear suits
Buying the USP-S | Alpine Camo here, in Field-Tested, makes sense under these conditions:
- you want a pistol in blue and lilac with visible wear;
- visible wear is enough for you: Factory New costs more than three times as much;
- the USP goes into CS2 matches, where the camouflage is seen from a distance rather than up close.
If the cheapest option is what you need, look at Battle-Scarred: it costs a fifth less.
