The USP-S | Bleeding Edge in Field-Tested (FT) is a Restricted pistol from the Radiant Collection, the middle wear of its five. The float here runs from 0.15 to 0.38, and the scuffs are already visible. No case holds the skin, and it comes in all five wears.
What the USP-S | Bleeding Edge looks like in Field-Tested
Valve describes the finish as a red pattern sprayed onto the suppressed pistol, and the same description calls the pattern worn. In this wear the weathering of the item itself is added to the weathering built into the drawing, and it shows more than on the two upper wears.
The Field-Tested band of the USP-S | Bleeding Edge lies between 0.15 and 0.38, a little under two fifths of the skin's scale, which ends at 0.60. The float is decided at the drop, and the skin does not wear down any further.
Where the USP-S | Bleeding Edge came from
The release date of the USP-S | Bleeding Edge is March 31, 2025, the day the whole Radiant Collection came out. Ascent and Boreal arrived with it, and Valve's note on the update says the three collections hold more than seventy new finishes. The finish carries number 1323 in the Valve catalog.
What to check before buying
On a USP-S | Bleeding Edge listing, these parameters matter:
- float: from 0.15 to 0.38 the wear grows along with the number;
- name tag and stickers that this USP-S | Bleeding Edge already carries;
- item type: the finish has no StatTrak counter.
Between 0.15 and 0.38 there is enough difference to make comparing several listings worthwhile.
What the USP-S | Bleeding Edge costs in Field-Tested
Relative to Field-Tested, the other wears line up like this:
- Factory New costs more than five times as much;
- Minimal Wear costs two and a half times as much;
- Well-Worn costs about a seventh more;
- Battle-Scarred is about a tenth cheaper.
Well-Worn costs more than Field-Tested even though its wear is heavier: the order is broken at the bottom.
Among Restricted USP-S finishes at this wear, the skin is fourth from the bottom. USP-S | Flashback, USP-S | Royal Guard and USP-S | Ticket to Hell are cheaper, while USP-S | Sleeping Potion costs almost the same, slightly higher. The top of the row is USP-S | Orange Anolis, USP-S | Road Rash and USP-S | Dark Water.
Getting the USP-S | Bleeding Edge
No case holds the USP-S | Bleeding Edge. The Radiant Collection is on the list of the weekly reward called Weekly Care Package, so the skin can drop from there.
A trade-up for the skin needs ten skins one rank lower from that collection. The chance of getting it is one in three, because the Radiant Collection has three Restricted skins.
StatTrak and Souvenir
Valve never released a StatTrak version of the USP-S | Bleeding Edge. There were no souvenir packages for this finish either: those were made only for the tournament map collections. But a souvenir copy can be built by hand: the Souvenir-O-Matic puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on a regular skin from the inventory. That is why a few souvenir copies turn up now and then, even where no packages ever existed.
Stickers and craft on the USP-S | Bleeding Edge
The pattern is red, so white, black and blue stickers contrast with it, while red and orange ones blend in.
Who this wear suits
Buying the USP-S | Bleeding Edge in this wear makes sense if:
- you want a worn look without paying extra for clean paint: Factory New costs more than five times as much;
- comparing several listings by wear across 0.15 to 0.38 matters to you;
- you need a red USP for a build from Radiant Collection skins.
Battle-Scarred is cheaper by only a tenth, and its wear is heavier.
