The USP-S | Flashback in Factory New (FN) carries a float of 0.00 to 0.07 and artwork of lettering on olive camouflage. It is Restricted rank, belongs to The Danger Zone Collection and plays on the Counter-Terrorist side. The skin drops from the Danger Zone Case, and you can buy this USP-S for CS2 in five wears.
What the USP-S | Flashback looks like in Factory New
The pistol looks as if a soldier had painted it: mottled olive green and khaki across the body, hand lettering and stenciled plates. The lettering is white and cream-yellow, and the slide carries an olive-yellow plate. Valve speaks of hand painting.
"SHHH!" reads on the side of the suppressor, "BORN TO CLUTCH" on the slide plate, with a small "PRESS TWICE" under it. A peace sign in a circle is drawn on the grip. Only the frame and the underside are left as plain camouflage. Cracked lettering paint and grubby camouflage are built into the artwork, so in Factory New the skin looks battered by design.
Where the USP-S | Flashback came from
The USP-S | Flashback appeared on December 7, 2018, when The Danger Zone Collection was added to the game. Valve's note on that update names the Danger Zone Case, with seventeen community skins.
What to check before buying
A listing of the USP-S | Flashback is judged by these points:
- float: this wear of the USP-S | Flashback is assigned a float of 0.00 to 0.07;
- stickers and name tag that the USP-S | Flashback received from a previous owner;
- StatTrak version: it has a separate page.
A lucky pattern cannot be found on the USP-S | Flashback, because there is always just one. The spread of 0.00 to 0.07 is so small that choosing by float is pointless.
What the USP-S | Flashback costs in Factory New
This is the skin's most expensive wear. Minimal Wear is cheaper by a factor of 3.8, Well-Worn by four, Battle-Scarred by 2.9 and Field-Tested by 5.4.
The USP-S has eleven Restricted skins, and the Flashback in Factory New is second from the bottom: only Ticket to Hell is cheaper. Guardian, Royal Guard and Bleeding Edge cost about twice as much, Sleeping Potion 3.4 times. Beyond them Orange Anolis, Overgrowth and Road Rash are far higher.
Getting the USP-S | Flashback
The skin drops from the Danger Zone Case. The USP-S | Flashback can be built by trade-up from ten skins of the rank below, all from one collection; the chance of getting exactly this one is one in five.
StatTrak and Souvenir
The skin has a StatTrak version. There is no Souvenir version.
Stickers and craft on the USP-S | Flashback
Lettering fills the side of the suppressor, the slide and the grip, so the frame and the lower body are free. That is camouflage, and dark stickers read worse there than light ones. A sticker next to "BORN TO CLUTCH" adds clutter on the small slide.
Who this wear suits
The USP-S | Flashback in Factory New makes sense under these conditions:
- you want the top wear of a skin with lettering and camouflage;
- choosing by float is unimportant: within 0.00 to 0.07 the difference is small;
- you want the freshest paint on the lettering: on the other wears it is just as cracked by design, but those copies cost three to five times less.
