This is the USP-S | Guardian in Minimal Wear (MW), which takes the float from 0.07 to 0.15, about a fifth of a scale that stops at 0.38. It is a Restricted skin sourced from the Operation Phoenix Weapon Case. The finish exists in only three wears, from Factory New to Field-Tested, and in CS2 it is a restrained blue pistol.
What the USP-S | Guardian looks like in Minimal Wear
The finish is restrained. The slide is painted dark blue with a faint, darker pattern across the upper part, the frame and grip are gray, and the suppressor is black. There are no bright spots, and the whole effect comes from the deep blue of the slide.
In this wear the USP-S | Guardian takes the band from 0.07 to 0.15. The artwork is shared by all copies, which differ only in wear.
Where the USP-S | Guardian came from
The Phoenix Collection came out on February 21, 2014, and the USP-S | Guardian has been in the set since the start. Valve announced Operation Phoenix then, with a case of thirteen community finishes. The data names neither an author nor a Workshop submission.
What to check before buying
When you pick a lot of the USP-S | Guardian, this is what matters:
- float: you can buy almost blind, since the 0.07 to 0.15 band is tight;
- stickers and name tag: on resale they stay on the pistol itself;
- the slide edges in a close-up image.
One artwork serves every copy, so wear is the only thing that separates them.
What the USP-S | Guardian costs in Minimal Wear
Factory New costs 1.7 times as much, while Field-Tested differs by a few percent. The skin has no other wears to compare. Among Restricted USP-S pistols in Minimal Wear, it is dearer than the USP-S | Flashback, USP-S | Ticket to Hell, USP-S | Royal Guard and USP-S | Bleeding Edge. Above it in price stand several Restricted USP-S pistols, the nearest being the USP-S | Sleeping Potion.
Getting the USP-S | Guardian
The Operation Phoenix Weapon Case is where the skin drops. A trade-up also yields the USP-S | Guardian: it takes ten skins of the rank below, which is Mil-Spec. The result comes from the collection of one of the inputs, so ten skins from The Phoenix Collection steer it here.
StatTrak and Souvenir
StatTrak exists, and the skin has no Souvenir versions.
Stickers and craft on the USP-S | Guardian
The dark slide and gray frame give a neutral base. Bright stickers stand out more on the blue slide than on the gray frame.
Who this wear suits
Minimal Wear on the USP-S | Guardian is justified when:
- you want a calm blue USP-S without bright spots;
- you do not feel like hunting for a float, since the band is short;
- you want something noticeably cheaper than Factory New.
