Description

USP-S | Jawbreaker in Field-Tested (FT) is the middle wear of five for the pistol with the barking dog. On the wear scale it is 0.15 to 0.38. It is Classified rank and comes from the Kilowatt Case. The Kilowatt Collection was released on February 6, 2024.

What the USP-S | Jawbreaker looks like in Field-Tested

The artwork stretches from the grip to the suppressor: a dog barks with its mouth wide open. The composition reads as a whole only when you look at the pistol from the side. The suppressor says "GOOD BOY" — the inscription is the point of the finish. The paint is glossy, so it catches light on the curved parts. In FT the gloss is rubbed off the slide edge and the front of the suppressor. That part clips corners most often in the game. The inscription itself stays intact.

What to check before buying

What to weigh when choosing a lot of the Jawbreaker:

  • float: on gloss, wear turns matte and shows sooner than on ordinary paint;

  • stickers and a name tag already on the copy;

  • the type of listing: Souvenir copies are priced separately.

There is no pattern premium here: the artwork is identical.

In this wear the USP-S | Jawbreaker takes in both 0.15 and 0.38, and such lots look different.

What the USP-S | Jawbreaker costs in Field-Tested

The prices of the other wears relative to this one:

  • Factory New (FN) costs about four and a half times as much;

  • Minimal Wear costs about sixty percent more;

  • Well-Worn is about a fifth cheaper;

  • Battle-Scarred is about a fifth cheaper.

The gap here is only at the top: between FN and FT the difference is four and a half times, while the three most worn versions sit almost level. What people pay for is the gloss — it is what sets a clean copy apart, because the artwork itself takes wear calmly.

Getting the USP-S | Jawbreaker

The USP-S | Jawbreaker drops from the Kilowatt Case. No other case contains this pistol.

For the Jawbreaker, a trade-up takes ten Restricted skins from the same collection: Five-SeveN | Hybrid, Glock-18 | Block-18 or M4A4 | Etch Lord will do. The collection has three Classified skins, so the result is random: the chance of landing on the pistol is one in three. The USP-S | Jawbreaker can be obtained through a trade-up, and the cleanliness of the copy is set by the inputs.

The skin itself goes further, into the Covert rank, and from there into a craft toward a knife. The Kilowatt Case's rare special item is a single model, the Kukri, so the knife itself is known in advance and only the finish is random.

StatTrak and Souvenir

Stickers and craft on the USP-S | Jawbreaker

The USP-S | Jawbreaker has a StatTrak version. Souvenir copies of the finish turn up too, but no packages were made for it: those existed only for tournament map collections. Such copies are built through Souvenir-O-Matic, which puts golden tournament stickers and a player autograph on an ordinary skin from the inventory.

The artwork occupies the whole body, and almost no free room is left for stickers: all the slots fall on the slide, where the main part of the scene runs. Small bright stickers work better than large ones, or the dog ends up covered. The suppressor with the inscription is not used for stickers at all — it is the main detail.

Who this wear suits

Field-Tested on the USP-S | Jawbreaker makes sense if:

  • you want a story pistol for CS2 without the fourfold premium for FN;

  • the inscription on the suppressor matters more than the gloss — it is intact here too;

  • the lower wears don't fit: the saving there is about a fifth, and the look is worse.

The finish has a drawback in its composition: it reads only from the side, while in first-person CS2 you see just part of the suppressor with the inscription.
