Factory New (FN) is the USP-S | Kill Confirmed with its red paint, skull and gold ribbon free of any scuffing. In this wear the float scale runs from 0.00 to 0.07. Covert rank, part of The Shadow Collection. The skin exists for CS2 in each of its five wears.
What the USP-S | Kill Confirmed looks like in Factory New
The suppressor, slide, frame and grip are all painted. The body is red, with dark burgundy blotches running along the frame and slide. The suppressor is dark brown with red, a gold-cream ribbon snakes across it, and a golden casing is painted at the base. The skull sits on the slide next to the rear sight: white, with a glowing orange eye socket.
The pistol carries no lettering or numbers. In Factory New the ribbon's gold lines are thin and whole, and the outline of the skull along the slide edge is untouched. The grip and the front edge of the slide are not rubbed. It is the best this pistol can look.
Where the USP-S | Kill Confirmed came from
The finish's author, Nick, writes in the description of his work that the task was simple. He wanted to show the power of the USP and convey the feeling of a carefully calculated headshot. The skin was released in September 2015.
What to check before buying
These things matter when choosing a USP-S | Kill Confirmed listing:
- Float: the 0.00–0.07 band takes up 7% of the skin's scale;
- The name tag and stickers this particular pistol already wears;
- Whether the gold ribbon on the suppressor is intact.
There is no point hunting by pattern index, because the artwork never changes. The 0.00–0.07 stretch is short, and the differences between listings fall within the margin of error.
What the USP-S | Kill Confirmed costs in Factory New
The other wears cost less than Factory New by these ratios:
- Minimal Wear, 2.27 times;
- Field-Tested, 3.26 times;
- Well-Worn, 4.06 times;
- Battle-Scarred, 4.14 times.
The two lowest wears cost nearly the same, and the biggest gap lies between Factory New and Minimal Wear. Of the four Covert USP-S skins, this one is the priciest in Factory New. The USP-S | Neo-Noir costs half as much, while the USP-S | Printstream and the USP-S | The Traitor are about two and a half times cheaper.
Getting the USP-S | Kill Confirmed
The skin's source is the Shadow Case.
Besides the case, a contract of ten skins one step down from the same collection also produces the pistol. The odds are one in two. The Covert skin itself is good for a Shadow Daggers craft.
StatTrak and Souvenir
There is a StatTrak version of the USP-S | Kill Confirmed. Souvenir packages were not released for this finish. A souvenir copy can still be assembled through the Souvenir-O-Matic, which puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on a regular skin.
Stickers and craft on the USP-S | Kill Confirmed
Almost the whole body is painted, so there is hardly any bare spot for a sticker. Light and blue stickers read on the red base, while yellow ones merge with the ribbon. The clean skull is better left uncovered: it is the main element of the artwork.
Who this wear suits
Factory New on the USP-S | Kill Confirmed is a reasonable buy when:
- you want an intact ribbon and an untouched skull outline;
- the pistol is going into a CS2 inventory to be looked at;
- paying 2.27 times more than for Minimal Wear does not put you off.
For play in CS2 the clean wear is overkill: wear does not affect how the pistol shoots.
