The USP-S | Neo-Noir in Factory New (FN) is a comic-style portrait on a dark pistol, clean down to the last stroke. The skin is Covert and belongs to The Spectrum Collection. The stretch of the float scale here is 0.00 to 0.07.
What the USP-S | Neo-Noir looks like in Factory New
The dark brown slide and suppressor carry raspberry and pink color, with turquoise strokes and white highlights laid over it. The main element is the face with strands of hair at the back of the slide, and the raspberry fill beside it is the second most noticeable thing. The suppressor is lit mint-white on top and raspberry underneath.
At the front edge of the slide there are a turquoise rectangle and a small icon. The grip is dark with purple-blue lines. The slide, frame, trigger guard and suppressor are painted; the end of the suppressor, the sights and the small pins are left bare. The skin spans a short 0.00 to 0.07 in this wear, so there is no point chasing a number.
Where the USP-S | Neo-Noir came from
The author is donschi; in the description of the submission he called his work a black-and-white illustration with bright accents. The Spectrum Collection came out on March 15, 2017, and the USP-S | Neo-Noir arrived in the same update.
What to check before buying
Before paying for a USP-S | Neo-Noir, look at these:
- the float: the band of 0.00 to 0.07 takes a tenth of the scale, and the skin's ceiling is 0.70;
- the turquoise strokes and white highlights on the suppressor, which are the first to go with wear;
- the stickers on the body of the USP-S | Neo-Noir, and a name tag if there is one.
The artwork on the USP-S | Neo-Noir is the same on every copy, so there is no particular one to hunt for.
What the USP-S | Neo-Noir costs in Factory New
The other wears against this one:
- Minimal Wear costs the same;
- Well-Worn is 1.05 times cheaper;
- Field-Tested is 1.12 times cheaper;
- Battle-Scarred is 1.12 times cheaper.
Between wears this pistol is nearly flat, so the top of the scale carries almost no premium. Of the four Covert USP-S skins, this one in Factory New is second by price. Only the USP-S | Kill Confirmed is above it, at about twice the price. The USP-S | Printstream and USP-S | The Traitor are a fifth and a quarter cheaper.
Getting the USP-S | Neo-Noir
The skin is in the Spectrum Case. Ten skins one rank down from this collection make one USP-S | Neo-Noir.
Beyond that, the Covert rank leads into knife crafting: five such skins trade for a rare special item. The possible results include the Butterfly Knife, Bowie Knife, Falchion Knife, Huntsman Knife and Shadow Daggers.
StatTrak and Souvenir
There is a StatTrak version of the USP-S | Neo-Noir. No Souvenir package exists for this finish, but a Souvenir copy can be assembled through the Souvenir-O-Matic.
Stickers and craft on the USP-S | Neo-Noir
For a build, Factory New gives a clean surface: a sticker lies over untouched strokes. Cool tones and white work best, since the raspberry fill beside the face fights with warm ones. The face on the slide is better left free.
Who this wear suits
Factory New is worth buying for a USP-S | Neo-Noir for these jobs:
- the strokes on the suppressor have to stay whole;
- you need a copy for a build, where a float near zero means a base without scuffs;
- you want the top of the scale at a price almost equal to the lower wears.
In CS2 the wear changes looks only, and further down the scale the price gap comes to a few percent.
