Among the four Covert USP-S skins, the USP-S | Neo-Noir in Minimal Wear (MW) is the most expensive in this wear. It belongs to The Spectrum Collection, and its float here runs from 0.07 to 0.15.
What the USP-S | Neo-Noir looks like in Minimal Wear
The pistol's dark brown base is nearly black, with raspberry and pink fills, white highlights and turquoise strokes on it. The face in the back third of the slide reads at once: a lock of hair, an eye, an outline. The suppressor is dark, with a mint-white glare along the top and raspberry along the bottom. The muzzle is unpainted.
Inside 0.07 to 0.15 there is no standout copy to hunt for. The thin turquoise strokes and white highlights on the round suppressor go first, so that is where an inspection starts.
Where the USP-S | Neo-Noir came from
The Spectrum Collection was released on March 15, 2017, and the USP-S | Neo-Noir has been in it since launch. Valve's catalog numbers the finish 653. In Valve's description, the suppressed USP is a player favorite that came over from Counter-Strike: Source.
What to check before buying
What sets one USP-S | Neo-Noir listing apart from another:
- the float: the band of 0.07 to 0.15 takes about a tenth of the scale;
- the strokes on the suppressor and the front edge of the slide;
- stickers from the previous owner and any rename on the USP-S | Neo-Noir.
The pattern matches on all copies of the USP-S | Neo-Noir.
What the USP-S | Neo-Noir costs in Minimal Wear
Against this wear:
- Factory New costs the same;
- Well-Worn costs the same;
- Field-Tested is 1.09 times cheaper;
- Battle-Scarred is 1.09 times cheaper.
Priced against the other three Covert USP-S skins, this wear of the skin comes out on top. The USP-S | Kill Confirmed is about a tenth cheaper, and the USP-S | Printstream and USP-S | The Traitor cost almost half as much.
Getting the USP-S | Neo-Noir
The source is the Spectrum Case. A trade-up gets you the USP-S | Neo-Noir too: it takes ten skins one rank down from the set, and two Covert skins come out as possible results.
StatTrak and Souvenir
StatTrak is available on the USP-S | Neo-Noir. No Souvenir packages were released for this finish, though you can build a Souvenir copy at the Souvenir-O-Matic.
Stickers and craft on the USP-S | Neo-Noir
The suppressor and the frame are the evenest surfaces for a sticker, but the strokes on the suppressor wear away before the rest. Cool and white stickers go with the base; red and orange ones fight with the raspberry.
Who this wear suits
Minimal Wear on a USP-S | Neo-Noir makes sense for these jobs:
- you want a Covert USP-S whose suppressor is only lightly scuffed;
- Factory New costs the same, whereas in Minimal Wear the float can be chosen by number;
- it matters that listings within the band barely differ.
For CS2, the difference between wears shows on the suppressor. Further down the scale, Field-Tested is 1.09 times cheaper.
