In Factory New (FN) the USP-S | Printstream is a black-and-white pistol with an iridescent coating. The white parts and the graphics on them carry not a single dirty speck. It is a Covert skin from The Recoil Collection and drops from the Recoil Case.
What the USP-S | Printstream looks like in Factory New
The pistol is split into two levels by color. Suppressor, slide and magazine base are milky white, and everything below the seam of slide and frame is black graphite. The side of the slide carries a bold "XX", with a small heart, tiny crosses and diamonds beside it. Small holographic rectangles with turquoise-green lines sit on the slide and at the bottom of the grip. Valve speaks of a strict black-and-white design with pearl glints.
In Factory New the white planes are clean, with no dark specks, and the black hatching on the grip reads on every edge. The float runs from 0.00 to 0.07. This is a skin you can buy almost sight unseen, since the 0.00 to 0.07 stretch is tight.
Where the USP-S | Printstream came from
JTPNZ drew the skin. His Steam Workshop submission was titled "USP-S | PRINTSTREAM" and was published on December 30, 2020. The author described the idea this way. After the success of the first PRINTSTREAM collection, he decided to carry the design over to five weapons, keeping the black-and-white scheme and adding an iridescent coating. The skin entered the game on July 1, 2022, when the Recoil Collection was added. Its number in Valve's catalog is 1142.
What to check before buying
A listing is chosen on these signs:
- the float: across 0.00 to 0.07 the number only tells you which end of the stretch a listing sits at;
- the white surfaces of the slide and suppressor, which in Factory New carry no gray film;
- stickers and name tag, which pass to the buyer with the listing.
The pattern does not vary: what one listing has, all the others have.
What the USP-S | Printstream costs in Factory New
Against Factory New, the other wears stand as follows:
- Minimal Wear is about 1.6 times cheaper;
- Field-Tested is about 2.4 times cheaper;
- Well-Worn is about 2.5 times cheaper;
- Battle-Scarred is almost three times cheaper.
Prices step down evenly, with no big cliffs. Factory New takes 0.07 of the 0.85 scale, about eight percent.
Of the four Covert USP-S finishes, this skin sits third from the top by price in Factory New. USP-S | Kill Confirmed costs about two and a half times as much, USP-S | Neo-Noir a quarter more, and USP-S | The Traitor is a little cheaper.
Getting the USP-S | Printstream
The skin drops from the Recoil Case. For a trade-up to return the USP-S | Printstream, ten skins one rank down from a single collection go into the contract. With two Covert skins in the collection, the odds come to one in two.
The Covert rank also leads into the glove craft: Broken Fang Gloves, Driver Gloves, Hand Wraps, Moto Gloves, Specialist Gloves and Sport Gloves.
StatTrak and Souvenir
A StatTrak version of the USP-S | Printstream exists. There are no souvenir packages for this finish, but you can put together a souvenir copy yourself through the Souvenir-O-Matic.
Stickers and craft on the USP-S | Printstream
The clean white plane of the slide is the only open field. A large sticker can go there, but the bold "XX" is better left uncovered. Bright stickers show well on the black frame, while black ones get lost. In Factory New there is no gray haze under a sticker, and the craft looks severe.
Who this wear suits
The USP-S | Printstream in Factory New is a sensible buy in these cases:
- you want a flawless USP-S for CS2 in black and white;
- a craft calls for white with no trace of wear;
- you are putting together a CS2 set in a strict palette, and wear on the white is unwelcome.
If a light haze on the white is acceptable, Minimal Wear is priced at about two thirds of this.
