Description

The USP-S | Silent Shot in Field-Tested (FT) is a blue pistol carrying an angular ornament across the suppressor and the slide, a finish out of The Dead Hand Collection. The rank is Mil-Spec, and the skin drops from the Sealed Dead Hand Terminal. All five wears of the USP-S | Silent Shot are sold for CS2.

What the USP-S | Silent Shot looks like in Field-Tested

Underneath sits bare steel in a gray tone, and the blue artwork lies on top of it. Broad blue bands run the length of the suppressor, filled with rows of angular glyphs, while the slide and frame carry an ornament built out of geometric shapes. A diamond with rays, close to a shuriken, sits on the grip panel.

This grade of the USP-S | Silent Shot occupies the stretch between 0.15 and 0.38. That is 23% of the skin's own scale, which runs the full 0.00 to 1.00. Wear is locked in at the drop, and a copy does not change afterwards.

Where the USP-S | Silent Shot came from

Maloo and kioShimyo are credited as the authors of the finish. Their submission went up on the Steam Workshop on October 20, 2024, under the title "USP-S | SILENT BOY".

The USP-S | Silent Shot arrived on March 11, 2026, the day The Dead Hand Collection was added to the game. Valve's note counts seventeen community finishes in it, along with 22 new gloves as the rare special items. In Valve's finish catalog this one is number 1431.

What to check before buying

Worth a look on any USP-S | Silent Shot listing before you pay:

  • the float, because the closer it sits to 0.38 the more paint has gone from the slide edges;

  • whatever already stands on this particular USP-S | Silent Shot, stickers and a name tag;

  • the version, since a plain listing and a StatTrak™ one are separate products.

The pattern of the USP-S | Silent Shot repeats from listing to listing with nothing drawn differently. Between 0.15 and 0.38 there is still a visible spread, enough that comparing a few listings pays off.

What the USP-S | Silent Shot costs in Field-Tested

The wears line up against this one like this:

  • Factory New asks five and a half times more;

  • Minimal Wear asks two and a quarter times more;

  • Well-Worn comes in about a fifth below;

  • Battle-Scarred is priced level with Well-Worn.

Among Mil-Spec USP-S finishes the skin sits in the lower third of the row. USP-S | Caiman is a touch above it; USP-S | Night Ops and USP-S | PC-GRN are below. The top of the row belongs to USP-S | Blueprint, USP-S | Stainless and USP-S | Business Class.

Getting the USP-S | Silent Shot

The pistol drops from the Sealed Dead Hand Terminal. The rare special items in that case are gloves rather than knives.

No contract builds the USP-S | Silent Shot: Mil-Spec is the lowest rank the collection has, so there is nothing to put underneath it. As an input it works well enough, though. Ten Mil-Spec skins of the set return one Restricted finish, M4A1-S | Electrum or MP7 | Amberline among them.

StatTrak and the Souvenir version

A StatTrak™ version of the USP-S | Silent Shot exists. Souvenir copies turn up as well, although no packages were ever released for this finish: those were made only for the map collections of tournaments. Copies like that are assembled through the Souvenir-O-Matic, which puts gold tournament stickers and a player's autograph onto an ordinary skin from the inventory.

Stickers and craft on the USP-S | Silent Shot

The blue ornament takes up the slide, so a sticker ends up sitting next to the artwork rather than on clear space. White and yellow read best against it, while blue and light blue sink into the glyphs.

Who this wear suits

Buying the USP-S | Silent Shot in this grade makes sense when:

  • you want a blue USP-S with graphic artwork for the Counter-Terrorist side in CS2;

  • paying five and a half times more for Factory New is not something you need;

  • a lower price matters more than the cleaner paint of Minimal Wear.
