Description

The USP-S | Spiral Glitch in Minimal Wear (MW) keeps its maze-like engraving on the steel intact, and the iridescent sheen on the suppressor is touched only around the rings. The wear covers the float band from 0.07 to 0.15. It is a Classified skin that arrived with The Spy Tech Collection.

What the USP-S | Spiral Glitch looks like in Minimal Wear

The pistol is graphite gray. Slide, frame, grip and suppressor are covered in a dark gray pattern of broken lines. On the suppressor, a blue-violet oil-slick tint lies over the pattern with a turquoise block on top, and iridescent blue-and-gold rings run along its edges. The slide carries silver-white graphics, a thin rainbow stroke and a few small colored stripes near the rear cut.

The name misleads: there are no spirals in the artwork. The lines run in broken rings, closer to a maze or a fingerprint. The main element is a light, angular glyph-like inscription on the side of the slide, and its characters cannot be read. The pattern covers every part; only the end of the suppressor and the sights are bare.

The lines are extremely thin and sit on raised metal. In Minimal Wear the scuffs therefore land in spots: the front and rear cuts of the slide, the serrations, the ribs of the grip and the suppressor rings. On the flat sides of the slide and suppressor the pattern reads in full.

Where the USP-S | Spiral Glitch came from

The author is Sorarox, who posted the submission "USP | SPIRAL GLITCH (Iridescent)" to the Steam Workshop on December 19, 2025, less than a year before release. The Spy Tech Collection went live in the game on July 8, 2026. In the update notes, Valve wrote that both new collections were assembled from the Call to Arms selection. In Valve's skin catalog the item is number 1451.

What to check before buying

When choosing a USP-S | Spiral Glitch, look at the following:

  • the float within 0.07 to 0.15: near the lower edge the slide cuts still hold their lines;

  • the rings on the suppressor, where the iridescent edge gives way before the flat surfaces do;

  • stickers and an applied name tag, which stay with the listing.

Every copy in the run carries the same artwork. In this wear the band is a short 0.07 to 0.15, so there is no point chasing a number.

What the USP-S | Spiral Glitch costs in Minimal Wear

Factory New costs about one and a half times more, and that is the whole gap upward. The steps down are much bigger: Field-Tested and Well-Worn cost about half as much, and Battle-Scarred two and a half times less. The reason is the artwork itself. It is built from thin lines, and on the lower wears they disappear from the raised parts.

Among Classified USP-S skins this finish sits fifth of nine from the bottom. USP-S | Orion is right next to it, with USP-S | Serum and USP-S | Whiteout above. Below it are USP-S | Monster Mashup and USP-S | Caiman, and the cheapest in the rank is USP-S | Jawbreaker.

Getting the USP-S | Spiral Glitch

The USP-S | Spiral Glitch does not appear in any CS2 case. The Spy Tech Collection came to the game as a standalone set, with no case of its own.

Ten skins from this collection one rank lower can be traded up for the USP-S | Spiral Glitch. The collection has two Classified skins, so the odds are one in two.

StatTrak and Souvenir

Stickers and craft on the USP-S | Spiral Glitch

No StatTrak version of the USP-S | Spiral Glitch was released. There were no Souvenir packages for this finish either, since those were made only for tournament map collections. You can still build a Souvenir copy yourself: the Souvenir-O-Matic puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on an ordinary skin from your inventory. That is why an occasional Souvenir copy turns up even where no packages ever existed.

The pistol has little room for stickers, and the graphite engraving works as a neutral background: light and colored stickers both read on it. Only a rainbow sticker fights the finish, because the iridescent rings on the suppressor pull the eye. The side of the slide with the glyph is usually left open.

Who this wear suits

Minimal Wear on the USP-S | Spiral Glitch is a sensible buy if:

  • you want a USP-S for CS2 with intact engraving but no premium for a factory-fresh copy;

  • predictability matters: the band is short and listings look alike;

  • the pistol is for inspection, since the thin lines show up exactly there.

The lower wears save noticeably more, but the pattern vanishes from the slide cuts and the suppressor rings. In first-person view in CS2 the slide is exactly what you see, so Minimal Wear earns its place.
