What the USP-S | Tropical Breeze looks like in Field-Tested

The finish is built on green foliage: leaves and flowers in yellow-gold tones are scattered over the slide and suppressor, while the frame and grip are painted an even green. A golden ring at the base of the suppressor and inserts on the slide provide a second accent. There is no lettering.

From 0.15 to 0.38 the wear on the USP-S | Tropical Breeze builds up noticeably. The band takes up 42% of the 0.00 to 0.55 scale, more than two fifths of the skin's possible values.

Where the USP-S | Tropical Breeze came from

The "Spring Forward" update came out on March 31, 2025 and brought three collections with more than seventy new finishes. The Boreal Collection is one of them, and the USP-S | Tropical Breeze is Mil-Spec within it.

What to check before buying

What matters when buying the USP-S | Tropical Breeze:

• the float: at the two edges of the band the wear looks different;


• the golden inserts on the slide and the ring at the base of the suppressor;


• any name tag and stickers this USP-S | Tropical Breeze already wears.

The USP-S | Tropical Breeze does not come in two different artworks: the pattern is applied identically to every listing.

What the USP-S | Tropical Breeze costs in Field-Tested

Getting the USP-S | Tropical Breeze

No CS2 case contains the USP-S | Tropical Breeze. The Boreal Collection is part of the weekly playtime reward, and that is where copies come from.

A trade-up for this skin needs ten skins of the rank below from the collection. Those are Industrial Grade, and the collection has five Mil-Spec skins, so the chance is one in five. The finish also works as an input: ten Mil-Spec skins of the set make one of two Restricted skins, Glock-18 | Glockingbird or M4A4 | Sheet Lightning.

StatTrak and Souvenir

The USP-S | Tropical Breeze has never been released with StatTrak. No souvenir packages exist for this finish either, since those were made only for the tournament map collections. Still, a souvenir copy can be assembled by hand: the Souvenir-O-Matic puts gold tournament stickers and a player autograph on an ordinary skin from your inventory. That is why an odd souvenir copy occasionally turns up where no package was ever issued.

Foliage takes up the slide and suppressor, so a sticker lands on yellow and green patches. The even green grip is free of artwork. Warm golden stickers echo the inserts on the slide, and red ones stand out sharply against the green.

Who this wear suits

The USP-S | Tropical Breeze in Field-Tested makes sense in three cases:

• you want a green pistol with gold and can accept visible wear;


• price matters: Factory New costs about 4.5 times as much;


• you need a USP-S for CS2 matches in a green loadout.
