Description

The ★ Flip Knife | Crimson Web in Field-Tested (FT) is a flip knife for CS2: a red blade with a dark web and a graphite handle. Covert rank, with the ★ mark. It drops from eleven cases, among them the first CS:GO Weapon Case and the Revolver Case. The five wears of the finish are spread across a float scale from 0.06 to 0.80, and this wear sits between 0.15 and 0.38.

What the ★ Flip Knife | Crimson Web looks like in Field-Tested

The blade curves backward, like those of Persian knives, and ends in a sharp point. A serrated stretch runs at the base of the cutting edge. A fine dark mesh of web crosses the red base, and the lacquer is semi-gloss. The handle is graphite gray with diagonal ribs and red pins, and Valve writes that the artwork is laid on with hydrographic film over red paint.

In Field-Tested, signs of wear show on the point of the blade and on the ribs of the handle. Wear is fixed at the drop, so a flip knife stays with the marks it came out with.

Phase and pattern

The look of Crimson Web follows the pattern index, which shifts the web along the blade and settles how many centers it has. One or two centers make an ordinary copy; three or more make the rarest and costliest one. The finish has no phases and a listing name does not state the center count, so the only way to count them is from the picture.

What to check before buying

Before taking the ★ Flip Knife | Crimson Web, look at these points:

  • the number of web centers in the listing picture, since the price inside a single wear depends on it;

  • the name on the knife: a name tag is allowed, but the knife accepts no stickers;

  • a StatTrak copy counts as a separate item.

Within 0.15 to 0.38, listings of the ★ Flip Knife | Crimson Web differ noticeably in looks.

What the ★ Flip Knife | Crimson Web costs in Field-Tested

Factory New costs 6.14 times as much, Minimal Wear 1.37 times, and Well-Worn a twentieth more. Battle-Scarred is an eighth cheaper.

Among the Covert finishes of the flip knife in Field-Tested, Crimson Web is second from the top, with only Slaughter above it. Autotronic is an eighth cheaper, Blue Steel a seventh, Case Hardened a sixth and Lore a fifth. At the bottom of the row, Boreal Forest costs almost half as much.

Getting the ★ Flip Knife | Crimson Web

The finish drops from eleven cases, from the CS:GO Weapon Case to the Revolver Case. Both the wear and the web-center count are left to chance. A contract leads to a rare special item too: five Covert skins from one collection give one such item, with no way to pick the pattern. To get the web you need, buy a ready listing.

Is there a StatTrak version

A StatTrak version of the ★ Flip Knife | Crimson Web exists in the game.

Who this wear suits

Buying the ★ Flip Knife | Crimson Web in precisely this wear makes sense when:

  • you want a red flip knife with a web, and Factory New costs more than six times as much;

  • the decision comes down to web centers, and float is secondary here;

  • the CS2 loadout is built on red, and the graphite handle gives the blade contrast.
