★ Hand Wraps | Cobalt Skulls (Field-Tested)

The ★ Hand Wraps | Cobalt Skulls in Field-Tested (FT) are bright blue bandages with a dark skull print. Extraordinary rank, with the star. They drop from the Clutch Case and the Revolution Case. The finish's float scale runs from 0.06 to 0.80, and it comes in all five wears.

What the ★ Hand Wraps | Cobalt Skulls look like in Field-Tested

These are fingerless gloves: the fabric wraps the hand and wrist and leaves the fingertips bare. The bandages are a saturated light blue, with dark-blue skull outlines scattered across them at different angles. The areas by the knuckles and on the fingers are darker, almost indigo. Valve calls the wraps knuckle protection and wrist support for strikes, and describes the fabric as blue bias tape with skulls.

Wear shows in the fabric rather than as scratches: it settles on the creases of the hand and on the edge at the knuckles. In this wear the ★ Hand Wraps | Cobalt Skulls carry a float of 0.15 to 0.38. The wear is set at drop and does not change afterward.

Where the ★ Hand Wraps | Cobalt Skulls come from

The Clutch Case was the first home of the finish. On February 10, 2023, Valve added the same set of gloves to the Revolution Case, and the release note for that case says so.

What to check before buying

Picking a particular ★ Hand Wraps | Cobalt Skulls comes down to these points:

• float: between 0.15 and 0.38 there is a difference large enough to justify comparing several listings;

• the wear in the title: Factory New costs seven times as much and Minimal Wear nearly twice as much;

• side: the wraps are available to both teams, and there is no separate variant.

What the ★ Hand Wraps | Cobalt Skulls cost in Field-Tested

Twelve Hand Wraps finishes have a price in this wear, and Cobalt Skulls is fifth from the top. Four cost more, Badlands, Slaughter and Leather among them. Seven finishes lie below: CAUTION! is 1.6 times cheaper, Overprint more than twice, and Duct Tape, Giraffe and Constrictor more than four times. The span of 0.15 to 0.38 takes 0.23 of the 0.74 scale, about a third.

Against the other wears, the picture is this:

• Factory New is seven times dearer;

• Minimal Wear is almost twice as dear;

• Well-Worn sits level;

• Battle-Scarred is about a fifth cheaper.

Getting the ★ Hand Wraps | Cobalt Skulls

The Hand Wraps | Cobalt Skulls sit in the Clutch Case and the Revolution Case as a rare special item, and the wear is random at drop. The other path is a trade-up contract: five Covert skins of one collection give one rare special item, but neither the model nor the finish can be chosen in it. The wear you want is easier to take as a ready listing.

Who this wear suits

Buying the ★ Hand Wraps | Cobalt Skulls in this wear makes sense when:

• you want the wraps for the first-person view: the pair is in frame every round, while the blade appears on screen mostly during inspection. That constant visibility is what people pay for in gloves;

• your CS2 loadout is built in blue tones, and the skulls add a pattern to it;

• price matters: Factory New costs seven times as much, and the fabric of Field-Tested, scuffed at the creases, is fine with you.
