The ★ Kukri Knife | Crimson Web in Field-Tested (FT) is a CS2 kukri with a red blade under a dark web. Covert rank, with the ★ mark. It comes out of the Kilowatt Case and the Gallery Case. The finish exists in all five wears, the float scale runs from 0.06 to 0.80, and Field-Tested takes the 0.15 to 0.38 stretch of it.
What the ★ Kukri Knife | Crimson Web looks like in Field-Tested
The kukri blade is wide and curves forward, with the cutting edge left bare and light. Thin dark-gray threads of the web spread across the red base. Notches and a round hole are cut near the base of the blade. The handle is dark gray and ribbed, with a rounded pommel. Valve writes that the design is laid on with a hydrographic film over a red base and sealed with a semi-gloss lacquer.
Field-Tested already carries wear marks, and they settle on the point and on the bare edge. Wear is fixed when the knife drops, so copies from the two ends of the 0.15 to 0.38 band stay different.
Where the ★ Kukri Knife | Crimson Web came from
Valve introduced the kukri model in February 2024, showing it alongside the Kilowatt Case as a rare special item. A second case for the finish, the Gallery Case, was released on October 2, 2024.
Phase and pattern
On Crimson Web the pattern is rolled: the pattern index slides the web along the blade and changes how many centers it has. A copy with one or two centers counts as ordinary. Three or more put it in the rarest and priciest group. The finish has no phases like Doppler, and a listing's title does not give the number of centers, so you have to count them in the picture.
What to check before buying
What sets ★ Kukri Knife | Crimson Web listings apart:
- the number of web centers in the listing picture, which moves the price inside a single wear;
- the float: this wear is a long stretch, 0.15 to 0.38, so comparing several listings is worth the time;
- the name tag: one can go on the kukri, but the knife takes no stickers;
- the version: a StatTrak kukri is listed in the catalog as a separate item.
What the ★ Kukri Knife | Crimson Web costs in Field-Tested
Factory New costs 5.2 times as much. The finish's scale starts at 0.06 and that wear fits only the 0.06 to 0.07 stretch, so the premium is easy to explain. Minimal Wear costs a third more, Well-Worn a few percent less, and Battle-Scarred a fifth less.
Among the Covert kukri finishes in Field-Tested, Crimson Web is third from the top by price. Slaughter is above it, at 1.5 times, and so is Case Hardened, by a seventh. Blue Steel is cheaper by a sixth, Stained by thirty percent, Night Stripe by two fifths. The bottom of the lineup is Safari Mesh, at half the price.
Getting the ★ Kukri Knife | Crimson Web
The ★ Kukri Knife | Crimson Web drops from the Kilowatt Case and the Gallery Case, and the wear and the number of web centers come out at random. A contract is another route: five Covert skins from one collection give a rare special item, but neither its model nor its pattern can be assigned. A copy with the web you want is bought as a ready listing.
Is there a StatTrak version
A StatTrak version of the ★ Kukri Knife | Crimson Web exists in the game.
Who this wear suits
Buying the ★ Kukri Knife | Crimson Web specifically in Field-Tested is reasonable when:
- you want a red kukri with a web, and Factory New costs more than five times as much;
- the copy has to be chosen by its web centers rather than by float alone;
- a CS2 loadout is built around red, and the ribbed gray handle gives the blade some contrast.
