Description

The ★ Kukri Knife | Safari Mesh in Field-Tested (FT) is a sand-and-olive CS2 kukri. Covert rank, with the ★ mark. It comes out of two cases, the Kilowatt Case and the Gallery Case. All five wears exist for it: the float lies between 0.06 and 0.80, and Field-Tested holds the 0.15 to 0.38 stretch of that scale.

What the ★ Kukri Knife | Safari Mesh looks like in Field-Tested

The kukri blade is matte, khaki with a greenish tint, and the handle matches it. A barely noticeable checkered trace of the mesh runs along the blade. Valve writes that the finish is sprayed on through stencils, a fence mesh and cardboard cutouts. The edge shines as a pale stripe, and notches are visible on the spine at the base.

Wear marks in Field-Tested settle on the point, the edge and the raised parts of the handle. The wear is set at the drop, and copies from the start and the end of the 0.15 to 0.38 band stay different.

Where the ★ Kukri Knife | Safari Mesh came from

Valve showed the kukri model in February 2024, in the update note for the Kilowatt Case. The finish is in the Gallery Case too, which came out later, on October 2, 2024.

What to check before buying

Before paying for the ★ Kukri Knife | Safari Mesh, check:

  • the name tag: a name can go on the handle and stays on the knife after purchase, though the kukri takes no stickers;

  • the version: a StatTrak knife is sold apart from the regular one;

  • the wear in the listing title: Field-Tested and the neighboring wears are separate items.

There is no choosing by pattern on the ★ Kukri Knife | Safari Mesh at all. Field-Tested has room for a 0.15 and a 0.38 alike, and the two look unlike each other.

What the ★ Kukri Knife | Safari Mesh costs in Field-Tested

Field-Tested is the cheapest of the five wears. Factory New costs 2.1 times as much, Minimal Wear a sixth more, Battle-Scarred 15 percent more, and Well-Worn six.

Safari Mesh is the cheapest kukri finish in this wear, with the other ten dearer. The nearest, Boreal Forest, is four percent higher, Forest DDPAT seven, Scorched 13 and Urban Masked 14.

Beyond that the lineup climbs more steeply. Night Stripe costs a third more, Stained 1.5 times as much, and Blue Steel 1.8 times. Crimson Web costs more than twice as much, Case Hardened 2.4 times and Slaughter three times.

Getting the ★ Kukri Knife | Safari Mesh

The knife with Safari Mesh drops from the Kilowatt Case and the Gallery Case, and the wear is only learned after opening. A contract also leads to a rare special item: five Covert skins of one collection trade for a random knife or gloves. The model and the finish cannot be chosen that way, so a specific copy is bought as a ready listing.

Is there a StatTrak version

A StatTrak version of the ★ Kukri Knife | Safari Mesh exists in the game.

Who this wear suits

Buying the ★ Kukri Knife | Safari Mesh in Field-Tested specifically makes sense if:

  • you want the least expensive kukri in this wear, since every other finish of the model costs more;

  • you want a matte sand-and-olive blade without a busy pattern;

  • a CS2 loadout is built on khaki and sandy tones.
