The finish drops from the Glove Case and the Operation Hydra Case as the rare special item. The wear scale is cut off at the bottom, with nothing cleaner than 0.06, and on a pale base the difference between wears shows most.

What the ★ Moto Gloves | Spearmint look like in Factory New

The base is white and cream, with soft mint-green blotches spread over it like camouflage. A rigid pad covers the knuckles and continues onto the finger bases in separate segments. It is dark gray and glossy, crossed by an orange-red stripe, with the word TORQUE stamped into its side. The fingers are gray on the back and cream-white on the palm, with white stitching. The cuff stays mint.

Float runs between 0.06 and 0.07. The pale base dirties first: the cuff, the finger edges and the white palm gray over before the pad does. The orange stripe rubs away before the pad under it. None of that has begun in Factory New, while Minimal Wear (MW) already shows it on the cuff and palm.

Where the ★ Moto Gloves | Spearmint came from

The Glove Case was released on November 28, 2016 and this finish came with it; the Operation Hydra Case added the pair later. Valve describes the model as motorcycle gear, rigid pads over white leather. The item text speaks as Commander Felix Riley: for what Huxley charges, he could throw in a tin of mints. An update note of October 1, 2025 added glove wear and pattern to the spectated player's loadout display.

Phase and pattern

Glove finishes have no phases or gems whatsoever. Here the pattern number moves the texture on both sides at once: the mint wash over the white field falls differently on every copy. No named layouts worth a premium exist, so a listing is judged on float, not on its number.

What to check before buying

Three things decide between listings:

• float gives little to work with, since the 0.06 to 0.07 stretch is short;


• the cuff and the white palm in the screenshot, where grime shows first on pale leather;


• the orange stripe on the pad, thin enough that it goes before the rest.

Of the twelve star finishes on the model, this one leads on price. Cool Mint comes nearest and still trails by almost three times. By wear: Minimal Wear is two and a half times cheaper, Field-Tested three and a half. Well-Worn costs six and a half times less, Battle-Scarred twenty.

The finish reaches players by two roads. Both cases hold the pair in the rare special item slot, and the wear on opening is random. The contract works differently: five Covert skins of one collection yield one gold item, unknown in advance. Neither road can be aimed at a clean float, so that is bought as a ready listing.
