The blade, the finger ring and the handle are all painted one light gray-white. Soft diagonal bands in silvery gray run across the paint, as if masking tape had been stuck to the knife. The holes at the base of the blade are left unpainted. Valve says the paint went on through a tangle of tape used as a stencil.
