★ Specialist Gloves | Field Agent (Field-Tested)

The ★ Specialist Gloves | Field Agent in Field-Tested (FT) are dark blue cloth gloves for CS2 with yellow inserts on the knuckles and fingers. They are Extraordinary rank, with the star. You can get them from the Operation Broken Fang Case, and also from the Snakebite Case and the Recoil Case. The float scale of the finish stretches from 0.06 to 0.80, so every wear exists, and this wear is given 0.15 to 0.38.

What the ★ Specialist Gloves | Field Agent look like in Field-Tested

The back is sewn from dark blue fabric with slanted overlays in the same tone. Yellow arcs sit on the knuckles, and matching yellow inserts follow the finger creases and the base of the thumb. The edges are bound in a light trim, and the word TORTUE is printed on the back. Fingers and palm are dark gray, almost black, so the yellow stands out sharply against them. Valve sums the gloves up in one phrase: durable, breathable and stylish.

Wear on a pair like this reads as scuffing and fading of the fabric on the knuckles and finger creases, not as nicks in the trim. The Field-Tested band of the ★ Specialist Gloves | Field Agent is stretched from 0.15 to 0.38, and inspection makes that visible. Wear is set at the drop: the pair keeps the scuffs it dropped with.

Where the ★ Specialist Gloves | Field Agent came from

The gloves arrived with Operation Broken Fang, which started on December 3, 2020. The set was later added as a rare special item to the Snakebite Case (May 4, 2021) and the Recoil Case (July 4, 2022), which gave the finish three cases.

What to check before buying

Before buying the ★ Specialist Gloves | Field Agent, go through the following:

• float: the closer to 0.15, the fewer scuffs on the knuckles, and within 0.15 to 0.38 the listings differ in appearance;

• the state of the fabric on the finger creases and of the yellow inserts on the knuckles, which shows where a copy sits on the band;

• wear in the name: Factory New costs 8.07 times as much, and Minimal Wear 2.31 times.

What the ★ Specialist Gloves | Field Agent cost in Field-Tested

The gap between wears is sharp: Factory New is 8.07 times pricier, and Minimal Wear 2.31 times pricier. Well-Worn is cheaper by a factor of 1.06, and Battle-Scarred by 1.36.

Of the nineteen Specialist Gloves finishes in this wear, fourteen rank above Field Agent and four below. Crimson Web, Marble Fade and Tiger Strike are the nearest above it, while Lt. Commander, Mogul and Buckshot lie in the lower part. The dearest finishes of the range are Foundation, Emerald Web and Crimson Kimono.

Getting the ★ Specialist Gloves | Field Agent

These gloves can drop from three cases: Operation Broken Fang, Snakebite and Recoil. Their wear is random. The second route is a contract in which five Covert skins from one collection give one special item, and neither the model nor the finish can be selected there. For the wear you need, buy a ready listing.

Who this wear suits

Buying the ★ Specialist Gloves | Field Agent in Field-Tested is reasonable if:

• you want blue gloves with a yellow accent: the pair is in your own hands every round, while the knife gets into frame mostly on inspection. People pay for that constant visibility;

• your CS2 loadout is put together in dark blue and yellow;

• price matters: Factory New costs 8.07 times as much, and the signs of use on the creases are part of the wear itself.
