The ★ Specialist Gloves | Mogul in Field-Tested (FT) is a pair with bluish-white camouflage on the back of the hand and dark-blue cuffs and fingers. Extraordinary rank, with the star. The pair can drop from the Clutch Case or the Revolution Case. The finish allows floats from 0.06 to 0.80, and Field-Tested takes 0.23 of that 0.74 scale.
What the ★ Specialist Gloves | Mogul look like in Field-Tested
The back of the hand is covered in camouflage made of light-blue, turquoise, white and gray patches. Dark-gray pads sit on the knuckles, and relief bars with yellow lettering run along the fingers. The cuff and the fingers are dark blue, while the fingertip pads and the palm pads are light gray. Valve calls the pair wintry and writes that it would not look out of place on a ski slope.
On light camouflage, rubbing reads as darkening and a gray film on the creases and knuckles. The ★ Specialist Gloves | Mogul in this wear are held to a float of 0.15 to 0.38. Wear does not build up over time: it is laid down at drop.
Where the ★ Specialist Gloves | Mogul come from
The gloves sit in the Clutch Case. In the release note for the Revolution Case, dated February 10, 2023, Valve stated that the case can yield the Clutch Case gloves as rare special items. Valve's own text on the item is short: durable, breathable, stylish gloves built to take impact.
What to check before buying
Before buying the ★ Specialist Gloves | Mogul, a few points are worth checking:
- in this wear the ★ Specialist Gloves | Mogul span 0.15 to 0.38, and listings from the edges of that stretch look different;
- the light areas of the camouflage: cleanliness or a gray film on them shows in the listing screenshot;
- the wear in the title: Factory New is seven times dearer, and Minimal Wear 1.7 times.
What the ★ Specialist Gloves | Mogul cost in Field-Tested
Nineteen Specialist Gloves finishes have a price in this wear, and Mogul is second from the bottom: only Buckshot costs less, and it is about half the price. Lt. Commander is dearer by a few percent, Field Agent by 1.4 times, Crimson Web by 1.5 times. At the top of the lineup stand Crimson Kimono, Emerald Web and Foundation.
The wears stack up as follows:
- Factory New is seven times dearer;
- Minimal Wear is 1.7 times dearer;
- Well-Worn costs almost the same, with a difference of under three percent;
- Battle-Scarred is cheaper by a factor of 1.12.
Getting the ★ Specialist Gloves | Mogul
The finish can be taken from two cases: the Clutch Case and the Revolution Case. The gloves come in them as a rare special item, and the wear is decided at drop. A contract also works: five Covert skins of one collection turn into one rare special item, but the model and the finish in it are random. The wear you want is therefore bought as a ready listing.

- you want a light, wintry pair for a CS2 loadout;
