The governing tone is a saturated violet. Toward the fingers and the palm it slides into blue-lilac, picking up pale blue and steel highlights. The insert on the back is dark lilac, nearly black at the edges, ribbed with vertical bands, and a violet scaled field surrounds it. On the palm side the shimmer is lighter and more mottled, pale blue streaks running along the fingers. Thin turquoise strokes follow the ribs, and at the base of the fingers the fabric looks lacquered. The cuff is wrapped in the insert's dark material.

Float values here run from 0.07 to 0.15. Across that stretch the knuckles and the tops of the ribbing rub down, the violet pales, and gray backing shows through. In Factory New (FN) the ribbing is still whole and the shimmer on the back reads edge to edge.

Valve's description calls the gloves black and violet and recommends them to demolitionists with sweaty palms.
