The ★ Stiletto Knife | Crimson Web in Field-Tested (FT) is a red CS2 stiletto with a dark mesh across the blade. Covert rank, and knives of this rank carry the ★ mark. It drops from the Horizon Case and the Danger Zone Case. All five wears exist, and the float scale begins at 0.06 and ends at 0.80.
What the ★ Stiletto Knife | Crimson Web looks like in Field-Tested
Valve says the knife is painted with a hydrographic film carrying a web design over a red base. The blade is long and thin, red, with dark-red veins and spots. The guard, the button and the pommel are red too, and the center insert of the handle is dark, a gray-black.
From 0.15 to 0.38 the wear on the ★ Stiletto Knife | Crimson Web builds up noticeably. On the red lacquer it reads at the tip of the blade and on the protruding parts of the handle.
Where the ★ Stiletto Knife | Crimson Web came from
The Horizon Case was the finish's first. Valve then added the Horizon knives to the Danger Zone Case as well, as a note dated December 7, 2018 says.
Phase and pattern
The pattern on this stiletto is rolled. The pattern index shifts the web and changes how many centers it has on the blade. Copies with one or two centers are ordinary, and those with three or more are the rarest and the priciest.
A listing title does not give the pattern away, so the number of centers can only be checked in the picture. It is the same kind of spread as on the Desert Eagle with this finish.
What to check before buying
In a ★ Stiletto Knife | Crimson Web listing, check these parameters:
- the number of web centers in the picture: three or more cost extra;
- the float: the 0.15 to 0.38 band holds both tidy and scuffed copies;
- the name tag: another person's name on the knife stays with the new owner as well;
- the wear in the title: Factory New costs more than five times as much.
What the ★ Stiletto Knife | Crimson Web costs in Field-Tested
For this finish Factory New costs more than five times as much. Minimal Wear costs about a quarter more, and Well-Worn a twentieth more. Battle-Scarred is cheaper by about an eighth.
Among the stiletto finishes that come in Field-Tested, Crimson Web is second from the top by price. Only Slaughter costs more, by a third and a bit. Case Hardened is slightly cheaper, Blue Steel by a fifth, and Stained and Ultraviolet by about a third. The bottom of the lineup is more than twice as cheap.
Getting the ★ Stiletto Knife | Crimson Web
The finish drops from the Horizon Case and the Danger Zone Case, and the wear that comes out is random. A contract is the fallback route. Five Covert skins of one collection give a random rare special item, and neither the model, nor the finish, nor the web can be picked. The copy you need is bought as a ready listing.
Is there a StatTrak version
A StatTrak version of the ★ Stiletto Knife | Crimson Web exists in the game.
Who this wear suits
The ★ Stiletto Knife | Crimson Web is a sound buy in this wear specifically if:
- you want a red stiletto with a web, and overpaying by more than five times for Factory New is hard to justify;
- you would like to pick the copy by its web centers, not by float alone;
- a CS2 loadout is built around red, and the black-and-gray handle insert supplies contrast.
