Description

The P2000 | Grip Tape (Battle-Scarred, BS) is the most affordable way to own this Mil-Spec Grade pistol skin, with its silver paint sheens and dark matte grip section. It's the entry point for budget-focused buyers.

Design

The finish's shifting silver sheens and dark, matte-painted grip section, tied to the flavor line "Hold tight!", still come through clearly even at the heaviest wear grade, since the design leans on texture rather than fine detail.

P2000 | Grip Tape (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

Battle-Scarred sits at the top of the finish's 0.00–0.75 float range, its worst available condition. Since the range is capped below a full 1.0, this grade stays milder than a Battle-Scarred copy of an uncapped skin — clear scuffing, but not a fully destroyed look.

P2000 | Grip Tape Rarity

This finish carries a Mil-Spec Grade rating, the blue tier in the middle of the standard weapon rarity ladder, above the bottom two tiers but below Restricted and Classified.

P2000 | Grip Tape Case and Collection

It's part of The Achroma Collection, which debuted with The Fourth Season update in January 2026. With no case attached to it, copies come directly from the collection's own pool, where Mil-Spec Grade finishes make up roughly 79.92% of the drops.

P2000 | Grip Tape Patterns

Because the silver-and-matte design is fixed on every copy, there's no seed number or rare variant worth chasing on this finish — wear and float are the only meaningful differences.

StatTrak & Souvenir

No StatTrak copy of this skin has ever existed, and no Souvenir copy has either, since Souvenir weapons require a Major-tournament package and The Achroma Collection has never been part of one.

P2000 | Grip Tape Price

Battle-Scarred is the lowest-priced grade on the Grip Tape's ladder, the cheapest way into an already affordable, mid-tier pistol skin. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is Battle-Scarred a bad-looking grade for the Grip Tape?

Not really. Since the finish's float caps below a full 1.0, Battle-Scarred here shows real wear but avoids the most extreme, chipped-apart look other skins can hit at this grade. The silver sheens still show through.

Why pick Battle-Scarred over Well-Worn (WW)?

Mainly the price. It's the cheapest wear on this finish's ladder, and the capped float keeps the visual difference between the two grades smaller than the price gap might suggest.

Is the Grip Tape worth buying overall?

If you like a practical, metallic-toned pistol skin, yes — it's an affordable, mid-tier finish at every grade, and its Mil-Spec rarity means it's easy to find on the market without much hunting.
