What the Sword Is

Edge of the Lost Order is an Immortal sword for Juggernaut and one of the cheapest things in the entire Dota 2 catalogue — it costs less than a dollar. The lore has a school of blademasters who learned to pierce the fabric of reality, which is rather grander than the price tag.

Why the Blade Shows on This Hero

The item takes Juggernaut's weapon slot and changes the model of his blade. Mask, armour and cloak remain standard.

The rarity is Immortal, and that says nothing about the price. A rarity step records where an item came from, not what the market asks for it.

It has no effect on a fight. Damage, attack speed and the behaviour of Blade Fury or Omnislash are untouched.

Why It Is So Cheap

Juggernaut swings without pause. Omnislash throws him from target to target, Blade Fury spins him on the spot, and the weapon is on screen throughout.

For a cheap slot that is the best possible arrangement: maximum visibility for close to no money.

The hero has also stayed in the pick pool for years, so the purchase will not sit idle in an inventory waiting for its moment.

Omnislash helps as well, since it shows the blade close up and from several angles in a way an ordinary attack never does.

What It Costs

The piece shipped in volume and shipped long ago. Plenty of copies went out, and fewer people specifically want this model than the market holds.

The bottom shelf in this game is densely packed with Immortal slots from older releases. That is the normal state of the market rather than a sale.

So the low number is nothing to be suspicious about. The item is exactly what came out of the treasure — there is simply a lot of it.

The gap between this and an expensive Immortal slot is the size of the print run. The model and the animations are built to the same standard.

Who It Suits

Under a dollar. At that level the market moves in cents, and comparing offers is more curiosity than strategy.

The live number in the card above is pulled from current offers and updates by itself.

There is a difference against Valve's own shop here too, but in absolute money it is microscopic. Savings are not the argument at this price.

Where to Buy Edge of the Lost Order

Anyone who wants to stop playing a default Yurnero without spending anything meaningful on it.

Anyone building the hero gradually — the weapon is the logical opener, because it is visible every second of a fight.

And anyone buying on a marketplace for the first time: the whole route, from a Steam login to an item in the inventory, can be walked through for pocket change.

Anyone after a dramatic change of look will need more than a sword, though. That job belongs to sets and arcanas.

The blade is taken from here: sign in through Steam, choose an offer and pay by card, cryptocurrency or e-wallet.

It arrives in your Steam inventory, and if you later want it gone, the sale starts from the same account.

Juggernaut's other gear is shelved nearby, from sets to the arcana, and the price range between them is enormous.
