Hair of the Survivor

What the Item Does

Hair of the Survivor is a Mythical head item for Anti-Mage and part of the Survivor set. It rewrites the hero's face and hair while leaving the rest of the model alone, and it costs considerably more than an ordinary head slot.

What Else Is in the Survivor Set

It fills Anti-Mage's head slot. In place of the default look you get the Survivor treatment, tied by its flavour text to the Turstarkuri faithful and the faces Magina cannot stop seeing.

Like every cosmetic in Dota 2 it leaves the hero's numbers untouched. Blink, Mana Void and Counterspell behave exactly as before.

Rarity is Mythical, which puts it above the middle of the ladder without reaching Immortal or arcana. What prices it is the size of the run, not the rarity line.

Why the Head Matters More Than You Would Think

The set runs to four pieces: the head, the shoulders and two blades — Blade of the Survivor and Offhand Blade of the Survivor. The twin swords are what the whole thing is built around.

The head works as the connective piece. Without it the paired blades read as bolted onto a default hero rather than belonging to him.

Nothing forces you to buy all four, since the slots are independent. The individual pieces also sit on separate pages at very different prices, so assembling the set one item at a time usually works out cheaper than hunting for it whole.

How Much Does Hair of the Survivor Cost

Anti-Mage is a small, fast model that spends half the match blinking across the map. Nobody gets a long look at his armour.

Dota 2 puts the camera high and slightly behind, so the top of a model is always nearer the viewer than the legs are. The head sits at the peak of the outline and nothing obscures it.

Hence the demand. There are plenty of head pieces for Magina, but far fewer that replace the look outright instead of adding one more ornament.

Who It Is For

Two figures, holding above $50 — past cheap cosmetics, well short of three-figure Immortals. The precise number is in the card above.

Two things prop it up: the age of the set and the permanent popularity of the hero himself. Anti-Mage gets picked in every patch, and his gear does not sit around.

Quality variants have their own pages and look no different on the hero. If what you want is the appearance, the page without a prefix is the cheaper door in.

Where to Buy Anti-Mage Gear

Players with Anti-Mage permanently in the pool who want to change his face rather than hang another trinket on the default model.

Set collectors, since Survivor looks unfinished without the head holding the blades together.

Anyone still trying the hero out can safely wait. Magina has plenty of cheap pieces that swap the picture for pocket change.

It is bought right here: authorise on LIS-SKINS through Steam, open an offer and pay by card, cryptocurrency or e-wallet.

The purchase arrives in your Steam inventory and appears in the in-game armoury. Should the look wear thin, it sells back with money withdrawn to a card or wallet.

The remaining Survivor pieces and the hero's other cosmetics occupy neighbouring pages in the section, from the paired blades to full sets built on entirely different themes.
