Description

The SCAR-20 | Fragments (Battle-Scarred, BS) is a Mil-Spec autosniper skin with a gunmetal paint job faking a shattered geometry, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into the faceted finish, trading surface condition for the lowest entry price.

Design

The finish leads with its gray tone: a gunmetal-colored custom paint job shaded to make the rifle look fractured into fragments. Designed by the community artist UAD6, it ships with an in-game line: "Fragment of your imagination."

SCAR-20 | Fragments (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

This finish is float-capped at 0.78 rather than the full 1.00, so even Battle-Scarred — the top of its float range — stays milder than a fully-worn skin and never reaches the most extreme end of the scale. At this grade the gunmetal surface wears its damage openly, with heavy scratching and paint loss across the body, though the fractured design remains readable.

SCAR-20 | Fragments Rarity

Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the entry blue tier of the standard weapon grades. As the most common colored grade, it keeps this finish very cheap to own.

SCAR-20 | Fragments Case and Collection

The Fragments is part of The Revolution Collection and is unboxed from the Revolution Case, released in February 2023. The Mil-Spec tier drops at roughly 79.92% from the case (the rate is shared across the tier's skins), making it the grade you'll pull most often — the market, in turn, is well-stocked.

SCAR-20 | Fragments Patterns

Since the gunmetal faceting is fixed on every copy, this finish has no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt for. Wear and float are all that separate one copy from the next.

StatTrak & Souvenir

You can also find a StatTrak Fragments, which adds a confirmed-kill counter; it's rarer and pricier than the standard drop, and the counter is permanent, following the item through every trade or sale without ever getting wiped. There's no Souvenir edition — Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament packages, and this finish never featured in one.

SCAR-20 | Fragments Price

Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the finish — the entry-level way to run the faceted design, and on a budget SCAR-20 finish that means a genuinely low price of entry. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the Battle-Scarred Fragments still recognizable?

Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing and paint loss, the gunmetal tone keeps the fractured illusion readable at a glance in-game. And because the float is capped at 0.78, this grade never reaches the most extreme wear, so it stays more legible than many full-range skins do at Battle-Scarred.

Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred version look completely trashed?

Because the finish is float-capped at 0.78 instead of the full 1.00, its Battle-Scarred copies stop short of the worst wear the scale allows. Combined with a neutral gray base that hides damage fairly well, the fractured design stays clearer here than lighter or busier skins tend to.

Is there a StatTrak Battle-Scarred Fragments?

Yes. The StatTrak edition exists at this grade too, wearing the same heavily worn gunmetal design with a kill counter on the model. It's a rarer, more expensive drop than the standard Battle-Scarred copy, and its counter tallies confirmed kills permanently, never getting wiped when traded or sold.
