Description

The P2000 | Grip Tape (Field-Tested, FT) is the classic middle grade of this Mil-Spec Grade pistol skin, built around silver paint sheens and a dark matte grip section. It's a common landing spot for buyers who want the look without paying top price.

Design

Varying sheens of silver paint cover most of the finish, while the grip gets a separate dark, matte treatment styled after real grip tape — a practical design carrying the flavor line "Hold tight!"

P2000 | Grip Tape (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

Field-Tested sits within the finish's 0.00–0.75 float range, showing light scuffing across the slide. The silver sheens still catch the light well at this grade, and the matte grip section hides minor wear better than a glossy paint job would.

P2000 | Grip Tape Rarity

This is a Mil-Spec Grade finish, the blue tier sitting in the middle of the standard weapon rarity ladder, above Industrial and Consumer Grade but below Restricted.

P2000 | Grip Tape Case and Collection

It's part of The Achroma Collection, tied to The Fourth Season update from January 2026. Rather than a weapon case, this finish comes from the collection's own pool, where Mil-Spec Grade finishes make up roughly 79.92% of drops.

P2000 | Grip Tape Patterns

The silver-and-matte design doesn't vary between copies — it's the same fixed layout on every one, so there's no rare pattern seed worth hunting for on this finish.

StatTrak & Souvenir

No StatTrak edition of this skin was ever produced, and no Souvenir edition exists either, since Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament packages and this collection has never been one.

P2000 | Grip Tape Price

Field-Tested is the value sweet spot on the Grip Tape's ladder, priced below the cleaner grades while the matte grip section still masks its light wear well. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is Field-Tested a good value grade for the Grip Tape?

Yes, for most buyers. It costs less than Minimal Wear (MW) or Factory New (FN), and the matte grip section along with the silver sheens hides light wear well, so the visual gap stays small for the price you save.

Does Field-Tested show much scuffing on this skin?

Only lightly, mostly across the slide. The dark matte grip area and the shifting silver sheens both help disguise minor wear better than a single flat color finish would.

What gloves work with the Grip Tape's look?

Its silver and dark-gray palette pairs naturally with silver or gunmetal-toned gloves, keeping the loadout in the same cool, metallic range without clashing with the finish's colors.
