Description

The SCAR-20 | Fragments (Field-Tested, FT) is a Mil-Spec autosniper skin with a gunmetal paint job that fakes a shattered, faceted geometry. Field-Tested is the most common way to own it — a bit of honest wear on a design that still reads clearly, at the low end of the price ladder.

Design

At its core the finish is a gunmetal-colored custom paint job, shaded and angled to make the rifle look like its geometry has splintered into fragments. The design comes from community artist UAD6, and it ships with an in-game line: "Fragment of your imagination."

SCAR-20 | Fragments (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

The finish spans a 0.00–0.78 float range, and Field-Tested lands in the middle of it. Here the gunmetal surface picks up light scratching along the edges and contact points, but the faceted illusion stays legible — this is the grade most players settle on for the balance of look and cost.

SCAR-20 | Fragments Rarity

Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the entry blue tier among the standard weapon grades. As the most common colored grade, it keeps this finish very approachable on price.

SCAR-20 | Fragments Case and Collection

This finish sits in The Revolution Collection and is unboxed from the Revolution Case, which arrived in February 2023. The Mil-Spec tier accounts for roughly 79.92% of the case's drops (that rate is spread across the tier's skins), so it's the grade you'll see most often — and the market carries copies in abundance.

SCAR-20 | Fragments Patterns

Because the artwork is fixed, this finish carries no random pattern roll — the fractured gunmetal design is placed the same on every copy, leaving no paint seed or "blue gem" to track down. Copies differ only by their wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

There is a StatTrak Fragments, which brings a confirmed-kill counter along; it drops more rarely and costs more than the plain skin, and the counter is permanent, never getting wiped when the item is traded. No Souvenir edition was ever made, since Souvenir weapons come solely from Major-tournament packages and this finish wasn't offered in one.

SCAR-20 | Fragments Price

Field-Tested is the value sweet spot of the range — cheaper than the top two grades while keeping the faceted illusion clearly readable, which suits this budget-friendly SCAR-20 finish. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does the Field-Tested Fragments look worn?

A little. Expect light scratching along the edges and high-contact areas, but the gunmetal faceting stays defined enough that the fractured illusion still reads in a match. For most buyers it's the best mix of look and price, which is why it's the grade most players pick up.

Is Field-Tested the best value grade?

Often, yes. It costs less than Factory New (FN) and Minimal Wear (MW) while keeping the design legible, and it's the most common grade on the market. Well-Worn (WW) and Battle-Scarred (BS) are cheaper still if you'll take heavier wear for the lowest entry price on the finish.

Is there a StatTrak Field-Tested Fragments?

Yes. The StatTrak version exists at this grade too, wearing the same gunmetal design with a kill counter added. It's a rarer, pricier drop than the standard Field-Tested copy, and its counter tracks confirmed kills permanently, never getting wiped through trades or sales.
